We we booked in for 1 night. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, loved that it came with a fridge. You get a light to use during loadshedding and the wifi worked during loadshedding. However reception was a little poor for my network while I was there. Breakfast was served on time and made to my preference. We enjoyed our stay

We had a great stay here. The host was very accommodating as we had to book with short notice. It's clean and the WiFi is good.

Disappointed would be an understatement. Arrived the night of the 17th July after being referred by Alveston Manor. A lady opened the gate and told me to go to the next entrance, drove down there and upon arrival she tells me to go back because theres two more people coming to park there - so I had to drive back to the first entrance. Next thing, she asks if I will drive out that night and what time I will leave in the morning - I haven't even seen my room and already we in conversation about checkout times! I ask about dinner - no dinner. So I sign all documents, get a room and I drive out to have dinner. I come back at about 20h00, I am told the electricity tripped but only for the outside rooms - the municipality is working on it and shall be sorted in 2hours max. They give me a lamp for the room - I cant charge my cellphone, can't work on my computer! I get offered an electrical extension from the house to my room going through my window - so I can't close the window and its freezing cold. I work a bit on the laptop but the cold coming through the window makes it unbearable. I decide to close the window and work with whatever is left of the laptop battery. I wake up in the morning, still no electricity. I take a COLD shower, in the middle of winter! Still no explanations or updates!!! As I pack up my bags in the car I'm greeted with "Your breakfast is ready!" - shocking! Needeless to say, I never had breakfast there. If the service is that poor, what will the food be like? Up until now, no apology has come through. I will never ever go back there. I will never recommend the place - nobody should go through that experience. Pathetic to say...

We are grateful that we got an overnight place at Kairos Home with no reservation. The parking is safe and the aircon is in good working condition. ||||Other than that Kairos Home however does not give the impression of a 4 Star Rated guest house. ||||Although there is a kettle and microwave, the provided counter top can not be classified as a kitchen and it is definitely not fully equipped. Food can not be prepared there, but only reheated. ||||The double bed mattress needs to be replaced. It is worn out and it feels like you lie in a canoe. ||||The linen and towels are poor quality and definitely not guest house quality. ||||The geyser is an interesting patent with a 30 liter tank which is supposed to be enough for a single person showering. The hot water unfortunately runs out after approximately 5 minutes of showering. The shower water also splashes out of the shower area and it leaves the bathroom floor slippery. ||||Five Roses tea and coffee was provided, but no rooibos tea. ||||No discount was offered for...

The host and husband were hospitable, friendly and helpful as well as welcoming. The units are big spacious each had two bedrooms, we occupied 2. It is home far from home. The kids loved the pool, warm water, soft blankets and free Wi-Fi. Disadvantages: The rules of the place was 'no noise after 20:00' but at around 15:00, another younger lady,(maybe daughter or assistant) came over to the pool and asked us to be quiet as 'there are overseas people were in one of the unit and were sleeping and we were making noise' My kids are 7,12,15 there's no way they could swim silently. Otherwise we would have given them full...
