I recently visited your hotel, small but great place, i see there is some work still being done to expand the place which is good. Check in was spot on everything was beautifully explained. Then we went to the spa, we started our treatments, which was the leg and foot scrub massage, shoulders & back massage and we were scheduled for a hydro facility afterwards instead we were taken to a sauna for 30mins and when it was done i came out as no one came to check on us after the 30mins had passed so i ask the lady at the front desk we are done with the sauna then when do we go to the hydro and she confidently says well you were supposed to choose whether you want the jacuzzi, hydro facility or sauna. FYI we were not asked which do we want to do. Only after i ask i am told that, but my booking clearly stated hydro. So the decision was taken because there was already a couple that was occupying the hydro as to why that was not communicated i do not know. At that point the ladies who were doing our treatments were gone. The only person left was the front desk lady who also did not check on us. During our leg treatments the reception lady confirms that i have a manicure booked for the following morning and i confirm that is correct and i also mention that i asked for a pedi to be included within this week which was confirmed by the lady who did my booking and she says nope i only have the mani let me go check and my thinking is she will get back to me. So when we were leaving after the sauna treatment i ask the front desk lady about my pedi she says no you will have to choose whether you will do the mani or pedi we are fully booked. Disappointed not even something like let me see what i can do tomorrow i am not promising however i do apologize . To top it all one of the therapist who was due to start our treatments within 20mins of arrival which was at 15:03 knocked at our door asking us if we could please come for our treatment now because they are free. And our treatment were scheduled for 16;30 and we were kind enough to agree to 16:00.
Then we had dinner that was some A class service from the one and only gentleman who was serving all the couples. From the starter, main course to the dessert.Great food. Job well excuted here. Excellent service
So we ordered room service for breakfast, totally disappointed the food came from the kitchen to our room not covered. For a hotel i would think thats one of the basics when dealing with food even a mere cling wrap somebody. Another Disappointment
The morning i had the manicure, not impressed at all. I had to say the corners of my nails and side are not polished. Like very disappointed

Check-in experience:
Upon arrival, we encountered an issue: the receptionist denied that dinner was included in our prepaid booking. This led to an unnecessary and frustrating discussion after a long day of travel. A disappointing start when you hope to feel welcomed and taken care of. Fortunately, after check-in, we received a small tour and helpful assistance with our luggage.
Restaurant experience:
Dinner was, unfortunately, a major letdown. • A menu mistake led to being served a gin & tonic instead of a cider. Rather than a simple apology, the manager implied I had opened the wrong drink myself and should pay for it. This was handled unprofessionally, especially with the waiter being blamed in front of us. • The T-bone steak was tough and difficult to eat, and the chicken dish was dry and poorly prepared. • Dessert was microwaved, confirmed by the beeping sound moments before it was served — not what you’d expect in a 4-star hotel.
Room & cleanliness: • The room was not very clean: stained sheets, a clogged bath drain (which I had to clear myself before bathing our child), and trash under the bed. • The room was also too bright at night, with curtains that didn’t block out light from street lamps right outside, making it harder to sleep.
Breakfast & positive notes:
Thankfully, the next morning started on a high note. The breakfast was excellent, well-prepared, and even featured live music, which created a pleasant atmosphere. This part of the experience truly deserved 4 stars.
Overall conclusion:
While there were clear shortcomings, it’s evident that the staff are trying their best. Perhaps we were simply unlucky during our visit. Taking the good and bad into account, I would rate our stay a 2 stars. Hopefully, this honest feedback helps to improve the guest experience...
Read moreThe spa was fantastic. The balance was pathetic. If you are expecting a 4 star experience at the hotel keep your money. Menu was ridiculous and the food was horrible. We walked out in the middle of our main meal which was cold,dry and unappetizing. We ordered mc Donald's from the room for supper. And just before you think it's because we aren't used to the food, my wife lives half the month in 4 stars for business. The next morning the breakfast which was supposed to be room service was 20minutes late without any form of notification which left us wondering if we were getting breakfast at all. We left as we had other arrangements to tend to. The shower smells like damp and the glasses on the dinner table were dusty. All round a pathetic experience. When I asked what made the establishment special we were advised that it's the spa. And that is 100% correct. That's all there is there. After we drove an hour and a half from a place that didn't even have stars! Don't waste your time or your money. It was the couples connect package. Go for the spa treatment...
