Heilfontein has touched me and I fell in love! The attention to detail is flawless including the top of the range bed and pillows. A peaceful sleep is guaranteed! Not to mention all the extra’s in the fully contained kitchen. Carla, their beloved German Pointer, will happily join you on walks and lead the way. Lindsay and Glynis are wonderful hosts who offer warm and friendly advice about things to do in the region. Of the 9 wine farms in the area, our favourites were Boschrivier and Raka. The Boschrivier Cabernet 2017 is a must for your wine collection. Our next stop was Stone House Estate where we found delicious locally crafted Nguni Camembert, Pecorino and creamy cheddar. George at Mountain View Farm produces his own olive oil where you can purchase a 5 litre box on tap. I am left with the feeling of love, warmth and cozy comfort.
