Huys Ten Bosch Guesthouse — Hotel in Tlokwe Local Municipality

I spent a lovely 3 nights here. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. They do however not stay on the property so make sure that you know what time you check-in so they can be there to meet you. They have Wifi in the rooms (strong signal and fast enough) as well as a few DSTV channels on the TV. The beds are 2 singles pushed together. Since I stayed in the winter, my bed also had an electric blanket on it, which I was very great full for. The room also had an aircon. Rooms were tidy and clean. You only get a body wash, it was not enough for my stay though and was not refilled or replaced after it ran out. So bring your own shampoo and body wash. Towels were provided and clean. No face cloth. Breakfast was fantastic. You have a selection hot meals as well as a very nice variety of yogurts, cereals, muffins etc. The coffee in rooms are your normal Nescafe sachets, but the coffee in the mornings at breakfast was amazing. I don't know what they put in that peculator, but its delicious. The Guest house is a walk away from some very nice restaurants and right next to the university. I would definitely recommend...

I spent a delightful week in Huys ten Bosch guesthouse in Potchefstroom in May 2023.||It was my first (hopefully not the last) visit to South Africa, and the Huys ten Bosch guesthouse provided me with a pleasant and welcoming environment. The owners - Wilhelm and Louise - are amiable and take great care to see their guests pleased. The rooms are nicely furnished and clean. The room service is impeccable.
