All accommodation in Pongola seems to be called a lodge! This place is situated just off the main road in a slightly dubious area, reminiscent of old motels. The rooms all open into a courtyard, private and secure. The dining room is a lovely double volume indoor/outdoor place with large fireplace. The food was good and the service was exceptional. No wifi in rooms🙁. Good value for money - only problem is the area, you can't go for a walk...

We were very positively surprised about the quiet tropical garden in this buzzing town! In addition, great service was offered. Although we were almost the only guests who would like to have dinner a great three-course-dinner was offered to us - all freshly prepared, great grilled lamb chops.
