15 on Penguin Guest House, Glen Marine, Simonstown — Hotel in Western Cape

We loved our stay here. It was a really nice location. The upstairs area (that I forgot to take photos of), but it was beautiful layout and had so many breakfast options (we had to get back on the road before breakfast, so we were sad that we didn't get to have with that gorgeous view.

The rooms were clean. There is plenty of parking in the front. The people who helped us were so nice and friendly. The shower had really good water pressure. And it's a really close location to all the restaurants and shops.

The little puppy was such a wonderful surprise. I spent a few minutes just outside playing fetch, and it was such a nice break from the stress of traveling.

The bed was really comfy and the rooms are naturally a nice temperature. The view from the beach view wasn't exactly what we were expecting, and we definitely didn't expect the shower and toilet to be built into the cupboards, but it definitely worked well and allowed the room to still be a really comfortable size.

The place is horrible. my uncle and aunt were given a room that reeked dog pee, the breakfast left nothing to be desired, they claimed the room had a jacuzzi but it wasn't working, TVs were not working, the host went into my aunt and uncle's room on two consecutive mornings without knocking. when we eventually canceled our reservation, Anna the lady that is apparently dealing with the accounting was very rude and insulting in her attitude. she claimed the Jacuzzi had been working before my aunt came and my family would be liable yo pay for all damages which were...

The hosts, Elizabeth and Arnold, were amazing and kind assisting us with last minute availability after our dreadful experience at Ocean View Apartment just up the road. What a wonderful host
