Mauya BnB — Hotel in Western Cape

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Mauya BNB during my transition to Cape Town, and I cannot express enough how wonderful my experience was. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable.

I initially booked a short stay but ended up extending my time there until I found a more permanent accommodation, and I'm so glad I did. The convenience of being located just five minutes away from my workplace was a game-changer, not to mention the relief it brought to my car's mileage!

What truly sets Mauya BNB apart is their exceptional level of service. The staff were not only friendly and approachable but also incredibly efficient in addressing any issues that arose during my stay. It's clear that they genuinely care about their guests' well-being and go out of their way to ensure a pleasant experience.

Though this review is long overdue, the memories of my time at Mauya BNB have stayed with me. I am forever grateful for the warmth and hospitality I received during my stay, and I highly recommend this establishment to anyone visiting Cape Town. Dont believe what you see on the internet! The place is unkept and with proper maintenance could be so much better! upon arrival, had to call the cell number 4 times before a person answered and we waited a few minutes more before a person appeared and opened the gate. Although we booked a Tri-Room, we got placed in a freshly painted, dirty 1 room back building with an outdoor shared toilet and shower. after we immediately protested and threatened to leave, did we receive an option of a better apartment which we viewed and decided to move to... but i believe that was our apartment all along! The pool and pool area was dirty, thus we did not use that facility. the owner was nowhere to be seen the whole 4 days. 24/7 help-desk is a myth! the 1 star is for...

A 5/5 rating and here's why - The Face Of Devotion South Africa team and I were hosted very well this past weekend. 🔥😻❤️ The hospitality, the friendly staff, the cleanliness of the room we were booked in, the view of the pool and surrounding area from the balcony, access to wifi (so that we can still be in touched with our loved ones and watch our favorite series on Netflix), the breakfast serving...There's more I can add to that list.
