While the facilities were alright, the lack of cleanliness was a major concern. Our room was visibly dusty and certain areas e.g. the door had cobwebs. The curtains had visible stains. The blankets did not smell freshly clean but rather like dogs/previous users. There was one small bin in the bathroom which was broken. There was also the issue of providing a single roll of toilet paper for 2 people for a 2-3 day stay. When we requested and were given another roll we were told that the room was supposed to have been “serviced” but there was no elaboration as to what that entailed beyond restocking toilet paper. A special mention needs to be made of the service of Mesack and Nick.Mesack made us feel welcome and at home in the way he received my wife and I when we arrived and the duration of the stay. Nick was always at hand for a friendly greeting or chat. We've been upgraded to another room to have the pleasure in enjoying our 26 years anniversary. The stay was awesome, the service of high standard, the weather and scenery beautiful. We really enjoy our stay and would go back anytime....

Lot of mould etc on exterior walls and damp cold indoors. Tin sink roof and plyboard 'wall' separating bedroom and bathroom. No cafe restaurant as advertised on the epistay site. Fair amount of noise from building behind late at night and very early in the morning. Considering was the same price as more upmarket establishments; certainly will not stay here again.
