Everything about this hotel was bad.
Location: in a very industrial area. No side walks where the hotel is located so if you have lots of luggage that might be an issue.
Service: got to the hotel before check in (5pm btw) to drop off our luggage to the front desk. The lady asked us to just leave our luggage out in the lobby area (didn’t feel secure).
We come back at check in time. Thankfully our luggage was there. But there was no one at the front desk. It says to call them if they’re not there but as foreigners, we only had data for our phones so only thing we could have done was wait. We waited 25 minutes and the lady comes down.
She was apologetic and gave us a room “upgrade” and supposedly “smoke-free”. We get to the room and the room smelled like smoke. So we went back and asked for our original room. We go in and we get a call immediately to not touch anything and go to a different room. This room also smelled like it was smoked in btw. The new room we got assigned was also smokey.
There were few red flags to the hotel. All the rooms in all the floors we’ve been in had their doors opened and the windows were opened in the three room we entered to be vented. I’m assuming it was to get the smoke smell out. They have a perfume stand in the lobby, probably because their rooms smell like cigarettes.
The smell wasn’t the only thing that was bad about this hotel. Bed desk computer were all dusty, all the rooms were damp, seemed like it was last used long time ago.
We didn’t want to unpack our stuff and stay there because of all that has happened so we booked a different hotel in a better location and just left this hotel without even trying to get a refund.
Hey had three chances to make it right. And all of the rooms had issues. I do not recommend this place.
I hope this helps for people who care about cleanliness and are sensitive to the smell of smoke. And if you are, just go to Cozy Tree Hotel. It was newly built as time of writing and it was a much more comfortable place to be in. DO...
Read moreThe first night we stayed at a Hotel further from the bike trail, big mistake...Busan is mountainous and the traffic is hairy. We needed to get to the bus station early to take the bus back to Seoul ( Easy to transport bicycles without bags on the "nice" bus as the ticket lady called it) I found this Hotel on Trip Advisor and was VERY pleased with it. Yes, the bed was firm but still comfortable. All of the local hotels along the bike trail that we stayed in had very firm matresses; seems to be the norm in Korea. We brought REI compact air matresses and used them 3 times during the trip because of the hard matresses, but not here, quite comfortable without it. Korean hotels tend to be thrifty and energy conservative. Once we got the a/c on it worked very well....you may want to ask the front desk how to use the controller, however. The room was attractive and clean. The hospitality was outstanding, and there was a breakfast included, served on the 2nd floor. There were boiled eggs, toast, juice, milk, coffee, frosted flakes, butter and jam. A very good...
Read moreCheap price for such a spacious room. T&B was also big, too bad that the features of the toilet is not working, only the flush and dryer was working.
I got the PC room, with 2 gaming PCs that I never touched. TV has Netflix, but can only watch English shows because all other languages will be korean and CC is korean too :)
You can cook ramyun during breakfast or have bread, jam or cereal
Too bad that the T&B smells like someone is smoking even if I specifically said that I want a non-smoking room. I had to turn on the exhaust for the whole time that I was staying.
Window view but the roof of the nearby shop lol
Location is a bit far off the city, so need to take note of the travel time, about an hour by bus...
