Ramada by Wyndham Suanbo — Hotel in Chungju-si

I have stayed in Chosun Tourist Hotel for a night from 8th~9th Nov, 2018.||The room was ok and staffs were friendly. However, the bathtub was dirty and rusty, I couldn't use it. ||||They charged KRW 18000 (USD 16) for breakfast when I checked-in. There weren't many restaurants around the area so I had no other choice but to have breakfast there. ||||In the morning, I found out there were two kinds of serials, milk, apple, orange, a bowl of salad and toasts in the restaurant. That costed KRW 18000, which was way too expensive for what they were offering. ||||I complained if there is scrambled eggs or bacon, they answered that there are less than 30 guest at the hotel, they don't prepare big breakfast.||||I say NEVER have breakfast in this hotel....

My fiancé and I spent one night at The Chosun Tourist Hotel while visiting the small mountain town of Suanbo. The service was outstanding with the hotel staff extremely helpful and friendly. But, the hotel is in need of many updates. The bed was one of the worst I have ever slept on; very hard. This, I know, is the Korean standard. But, I hated it and did not sleep well at all.||||The hotel is located in town so walking to places is easy.||||The hotel also offers a set BBQ dinner every night outside for W25,000/person. We did not take advantage of this; but rather enjoyed a pheasant dinner at one of the local...

I often come here with my children because the water in Suanbo is good.

I was sleeping and there was a mosquito so I tried to catch it. I turn on my phone's flashlight and look at the wall. There was a cockroach

I told the front desk and they changed my room. Picking up a sleeping child at 10:30 at night I moved to another room. Still, I can't shake off this uneasy feeling.

I think it was recently renovated and opened as a Ramada. To be remembered as a pleasant resting place They need to pay attention...
