Galmea FirstHotel — Hotel in Guri-si

This hotel is a little gem in Guri-Si. Rooms are in excellent condition and are cleaned daily. Tea facilities and good hair dryer in room. Stayed here for two weeks (for a task) and never had an issue with anything. Service is very good but there is a language barrier which makes communication challenging. Make sure you have an app to communicate in Korean. Also do not expect big smiles from reception ; absence of friendliness. It was not a bother to me. Big screen TVs but unfortunately Netflix was only in Korean with no English subtitles. Hotel is about 22 km from Seoul. We used Uber and the local taxis, as well as public transport to get to Seoul and all were great experiences. Train station and buses are in walking distance. There are stores, coffee shops and restaurants all around the hotel. I had a super time here and will definitely book in this hotel...

Hotel is not far from Galmae station. Eventho a little bit far from Seoul center, still manageable to go to the city (ard 50 mins). The room are clean and spacious, but the hotel don't provide iron (unfortunately). The drinks are replenished everyday 🙂. The bathtub has jacuzzi mode in it, eventho didn't use but nice to have (I think). The staff are polite and helpful. For families is highly recommended. and the price is worthy in my opinion. I was glad to find and stay at the hotel for my whole trip to South Korea Winter...

Galmae First Hotel is surrounded by shops, cafés, restaurants, pharmacies etc. The rooms are large and the beds are very comfortable. This was our third visit to this hotel and I highly recommend it. The staff are friendly and helpful. Pricey, but good for young couples and families.
