This was one of the top rated hotels in the area and I can definitely see why it is. Gyeongju is a smaller city so there aren't many hotels but this one is very conveniently located near an intercity bus terminal and a bus stop, only a couple minutes walk away. There is also a Mcdonalds and convenience stop nearby so you can grab food and other items quickly. I made the reservation through Agoda and it was cheaper than the other booking sites.||Check in was super easy; The front desk employees were nice and could speak English. They provided us with a discount sheet with a list of stores and businesses where we could get discounts if we visited as a guest of the hotel. We ended up using one and that was a nice bonus even though the discount was not a lot.||We got a nice room not too high up. It was a Standard Double with two queen beds, which was super nice. The room was spacious with a vanity, a small table, television, and chairs. The restroom was also nice and big with a walk in shower and bathtub as well. The only downside is that they did not have an international outlet in the room but they do provide it if you ask the front desk. The beds were not too soft and pillows were comfortable too. The room's furnishings and design were also pretty modern and did not feel old inside. My favorite part is that the house keeping was nice and placed new towels and bottles of water outside of our door even though we put do not disturb. We appreciated this a lot because we didn't want housekeeping everyday.||I will definitely be booking here again the next time I...

Situated in a historic city known for its cultural heritage, with numerous ancient temples, tombs, and ruins from the Silla Dynasty.
The hotel offers easy access to popular attractions like Bulguksa Temple, Seokguram Grotto, and the Gyeongju National Museum.
It's a good option for travelers looking to explore these cultural sites. The hotel itself has comfortable rooms and provides basic amenities like Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and an in-house restaurant. Toothbrush must be purchased at front desk by law, but they have shampoo, conditioner, body wash and other toiletries in each room. Also hair dryer.
Guests often choose this hotel for its convenient location and reasonable pricing. Nearby, there are various local eateries, cafes, and convenience stores.
It’s also advisable to check for any updates regarding renovations or operational changes before booking.
The gym is OK, nothing extraordinary but at least you can get a decent work out during your trip. See my pics for equipment details.
The staff is super helpful. You might need Google translate to get the point across sometime but they do their best to support. One of them helped me make restaurant reservations with a place that only spoke Korean, for example.
They also have a really sweet and playful cat named GG who hangs around the hotel and is often found out front...
Read moreI stayed one night April. 20 to 21 with my mother. I expected this hotel would be fine according to their good reviews. All employees were kind but my overall experience wasn't good. I wouldn't stay again. First, the quality of their mattress and bedding. The mattress wasn't comfortable at all. A reviewer said mattress is fine but not at all, regardless of ages. I could feel the spring parts right under my back. It seems not to have topper or cushions at all over the spring mattress. Also, too plush. We weren't able to sleep during whole night. Also, pillows were too thick and the filling of the pillows was clumped so it wasn't able to reshape. Second was breakfast. I paid ₩15000 individually. I was so disappointed. Barely anything to eat except toast, jam and butter, yogurt. There were cup ramyun, rice with something like chicken nugget. No fresh food. It was also totally different with the pictures that I saw from reviews. Hopefully, GG hotel changes their beddings and breakfast quality so as to match their reviews and reality. If you're planning to stay GG hotel, you'd better be aware of bedding and breakfast. It might not be the same...
