Just like most of the reviews on here. It’s on street with many motels/hotels mixed in with eateries surrounding it.||The staff didn’t speak English, but was friendly. The room was decent, the pillows could be a bit firmer (too soft). ||This hotels has bus loads of people every evening. So if you’re gonna snag breakfast, get there early. Breakfast isn’t included with your stay, it’s a separate fee. ||I can’t read Korean, so all I did was flip through the channels to find American/English movies. Don’t ask me why, but most of the channels featured a lot of old westerns / war movies (documentaries). ||They have a charging station/port for all kinds of phones and miscellaneous electronics in the nightstand drawer. I bought a 200 watt usb charger as I needed it for my future travels. ||Food wise, there’s two sides. The Korean food and the familiar western food. They always serve fried rice and boiled eggs. The rest of the food is a toss up. Sometimes you’ll score well on a good breakfast, sometimes you’ll be carb overload. One time, it was boiled eggs, fried rice, French fries and noodles. Way too many carbs. ||I can’t complain about this hotel. It’s clean and it’s walking distance to mostly everywhere. ||As far as disabled people are concerned, it’s not friendly. The bathroom for persons in wheelchair was locked and they don’t have any mobility devices for those who have difficulty getting around. The last hotel I stayed at had a wheelchair available. ||Perhaps if they had facilities accessible to those in wheelchairs/disabilities, it would’ve round...
Read moreThis hotel is now called the Hotel Sopra Incheon Songna. It's a decent tourist hotel in the newer part of Incheon. The location is interesting. There's lots of small hotels and motels in the area, so it seems lika a motel alley. There's also a lot of local restaurants, bars and Korean BBQ places. There's also a supermarket behind the hotel.||||Check in was quick, considering I was traveling with a big group, and the reception staff were nice, even though they did not know much English. You can rent an adaptor plug for 1000 won deposit. ||||The room itself was adequate, with a clean bathroom and the modern automatic toilet that I love. Bed was firm but good for sleeping. It was hard to operate the TV, since the remote was in Korean, so was unable to really use it. The sink was in the bedroom itself, which is a bit novel. ||||This hotel is quite popular with busloads of tour groups, so it can get crowded in the lobby, elevators and the dining area during breakfast. Best to wake up early so you can get a table. The breakfast was typical Korean/Chinese fare, so expect a lot of carbs!||||It's only a 3-minute walk to the Soegu Office Station on the new Incheon Line 2 subway. To get to central Seoul though, you need to travel around an hour and a half, changing subway lines. ||||Overall, it's a good hotel for a short stay in Seoul and is conveniently located near a subway stop and just about 30 minutes from Incheon airport.. But if you're in South Korea for the first time and want to visit the city itself, this can...
Read moreMy wife and I were part of a group of 20 that went to Korea to bicycle around some of the country's magnificent bicycle paths. This hotel was picked because it was reasonably close to the start point of one of the routes we were going to ride.||Although the tour leader said it was a pretty ordinary place, we found it spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed was firm and there were plenty of pillows and towels provided. Toiletries included soap and shampoo and moisturising cream (we did miss the toothbrushes, toothpaste, and combs that are common in Japanese and Taiwanese hotels0.||The included breakfast was decent if you are familiar with local food. There were a couple of bain maries and plates with "western" offerings, like ham, hash browns, and sausage, but most of the food was geared towards domestic guests.||There are lots of eating places around the hotel, again offering mostly Korean cuisine. I do recall a pizza restaurant and someone said a Subway was not too far away. But when...
