“Amazing hotel more like resort borderline”
Booked the Urban Duplex (no kitchenette ; top floor)
Staff/Service Due to ongoing renovations, check-in was relocated to the basement instead of the lobby. However, the directions were clear, and a staff member warmly greeted us at the door, assisted with our luggage, and guided us to the check-in area.
Cleanliness Overall, the room, living area, and surroundings were exceptional, though there was minor dirt in the toilet.
Space Overall, the room, living area, and surroundings were exceptional, though there was minor dirt in the toilet.
Decor The decor was somewhat understated, but the ample space compensated for it. However, the sofa could have been more comfortable.
Bedding The bed was comfortable, with a mid-firm mattress, and the pillows and bed linens were top-notch.
Noise Regarding noise, we had no issues during our stay on a Wednesday. Overall, A+ experience.
Location Regarding the location, it is somewhat remote, approximately 15 minutes from the airport. It is not pedestrian-friendly, so a taxi or car is necessary. For a vacation-focused stay, the location is excellent, with nearby seafood restaurants, a beautiful beach, and hiking trails offering stunning sunrises and sunsets. However, if your goal is to travel to Seoul city, this location may not be ideal.
Price Good price for my choice
Food We did not opt for the food options, including breakfast. However, a glance at the dining room suggested it was impressive. No need to worry if you skip the breakfast option, as the surrounding area offers plenty of dining choices.

Read morePlease don’t stay at this hotel if you have a pet. I booked a room on trip.com last minute because I missed my flight. Their policy states that the hotel allows pets upon request for free. When I made my reservation, I put in the notes that I was bringing a pet. Upon arrival, no one was at the front desk. So, I went to self-check in at the kiosk and then a staff member finally came over and helped. I was then told that based on my room type, my puppy couldn’t stay in the room with me. I was also told that I needed to upgrade and pay over ₩260,000 for her to stay in the room with me or I would have to pay extra for her to stay in the pet hotel. They wouldn’t even give me a refund. The woman who helped me wasn’t very friendly to me after I didn’t want to upgrade. All she said she could do was give me a measly discount on the pet hotel. This was the worst hotel service I ever received and experienced here in Korea and I’ve stayed at many hotels here. I’ll never spend my...
Read moreOverall had a very nice stay here with my family.
Positives: Very nice facilities Kind staff who were helpful when asked We stayed in a family room which had a nice tent in the kid's room Water cooler available, minimizing plastic waste Nice rooftop and mountain walk area
Negatives: The bathroom had a strong sewer smell. Really unpleasant. This smell was also strong in the kids play room No shower curtain, meaning the water from the shower gets everywhere in the bathroom (common in Korea, but still annoying) Kitchen could be better equipped. Only had basic utensils. Would be nice to have salt, pepper and...
