I had a very, very terrible experience with this resort. I actually did not book it myself, got it through a travel agent (which we then filed a complaint and got a refund back, fortunately), and we were brought to this 'hotel', which was VERY far off away from the city area of Jeju! It was a long drive from Jeju airport towards this isolated area of Jeju, and we only arrived at our 'hotel' at night, almost bedtime.||||We were supposed to stay for 3 nights, but after the 1st night, we hurry booked another hotel and checked out first thing the next morning! This 'hotel' was very much like a chalet instead, with a small kitchenette, a living room area, and two bedrooms. Generally, the entire unit does not feel clean. Instead, it feels dirty and dusty. We were all feeling really itchy and irritated.||||Firstly, the area felt really dirty and dusty (like I said above). The beds felt really dusty.... and I felt very uncomfortable lying on it. The toilets were really small (shower area and toilet bowl area were RIGHT BESIDE each other), and there was this pail doing inside for I-don't-know-what-reason-and-for-what-was-it-even-doing-there. It did not even look clean.||||What got me really pissed off was that there was ABSOLUTELY NO SHOWER ESSENTIALS PROVIDED AT ALL. I'm on a holiday in another country, and I do not have the habit of carrying even bathing gel around. So, I tried to get some from the reception, and their reply was that they DO NOT HAVE ANY BATHING ESSENTIALS. Not even soap. So, I headed to the mini convenience store they had in the building, right beside the reception counter, to PURCHASE mini packets of soap. (I had to pay for each and every one of these MINI soap packets, which I honestly felt very unjustified paying for. But I did not have a choice...) This resort was even sooooo remotely located that I couldn't even choose to venture out to look for a store nearby to get essentials! I felt so trapped, really.||||And just when I thought I was done with this 'hotel', the incident that got me most disgusted happened. Not only was there no shower essentials provided, there were no towels as well. (I really never ever thought that I would have to bring even TOWELS with me when I travel overseas, really. I NEVER had the need to do so). All that was provided, was small towels (floor mat size), that were placed on top of the shoe cabinet at the entrance. It was really hard for me to believe that those are in fact, the towels they expected us to SHOWER with when I made a call down to reception and that was what I was told... Most importantly? Every single piece of towel there, was dirty. They had yellowish-brown stains on them. I grew really speechless, I had to clarify this.||||So, again, I made another trip down to the reception to clarify if they really actually expected us to shower in those dirty towels. Indeed, they did. (I am very, very speechless). So I tried to purchase towels from the convenience store this time round again, BUT THEY DO NOT EVEN SELL ANY! All they sold was scrub towel! ||||And we had a really hard time trying to communicate with the receptionist (we can't speak korean). We went: ||||Me: Hi, do you actually provide bathing towels or do we have to use these (shows small, dirty towel)||Receptionist: No we don't have towels||Me: Ok, so these aren't for bathing, right?||Receptionist: Yes, yes, towel. Bathing towel||||I died.||||All I can say is, it was a terrible, HORRIFIC experience. Yes, we gave our travel agent hell for this after that, and I am just so glad we made the right choice of instantly booking another hotel to move to the...

Read moreI'm well travelled and this is the worst place I've stayed at in over 20 years. Booked in for 8 days. Arrived only to be told I could have my room for one night, then move to another building. Had to be out by 11am and next room unavailable until 3pm. One night to go, I get informed that my room is unavailable as they'd double booked, and there was nothing left. Reception service is rude and abrupt. There is a nice outdoor area with a pool, the pool just doesn't have water. With sleeping, sleep on the floor as it's more comfortable than the beds. Towels are supplied, but they are only hand towels. Location is isolated from any shops, restaurants, or anything of interest. There is no restaurant available for lunch or dinner, though you can get some cold eggs, etc, for breakfast. Thumbs up to the cleaners! They do an...
