This is a somewhat modern hotel located 25-40 minutes from Camp Humphreys. I stayed here with my wife for 14 days while working at the base. The commute to base was fairly easy to navigate with peak travel times around 8am and 5pm.||We reserved a junior suite. The room was spacious with a queen bed and a twin bed. Both were very firm with buckwheat pillows also very firm. We actually used the comforter from the twin as our pillow. There were Korean two prong electrical outlets at the bed. There was a decent size HD TV and TV remote also controlled the lights in the room. There were a couple of English speaking channels including BBC International. ||With 3 small rooms/areas, the entrance had a desk with computer and speaker. This allowed us to keep up with US news and TV shows. There was another small round table with two chairs. The desk also had an instant hot kettle with coffee and tea options.||The toilet was a Japanese style toilet/bidet in its own small room . There was a large tub, single sink and large shower with ceiling mounted rain head. Soap, shampoo and conditioner were in wall mount pumps. We had to ask for extra towels on a number of days. ||Breakfast is offered at no charge on the 11th floor. This is only Foodservice at the hotel. The offerings include a combination of Korean foods and US breakfast items. The breakfast runs from 7am to 9am. I advise getting to the breakfast as early as possible. ||There is a small refrigerator in the lobby that is usually stocked cold beverages at no charge. ||There is parking on site and generally takes about 20 minutes for the car to be retrieved from the parking system. The attendant can be alerted to retrieve the car using a bottom inside your room. ||Plenty of local restaurants in walking distance. A Pizza Hut 2 blocks away and an Irish Pub about the same distance. ||I would stay...
Read moreAt first glance the room seemed modern and clean, but closer inspection revealed that only the hard surfaces in the bathroom and bed were cleaned on a regular basis. Some residue was left on the desk, and what appeared to be a cigarette burn was on the small table and the resulting must of cigarettes clung to the air. On the second night of my stay I woke up to the sound of gurgling in the bathroom. I dismissed it due to the heavy rain the day prior, but after a few minutes I also smelled a strong stench of sewage. Luckily that was my last night, and I checked out that morning and will not be returning. I will also mention that the lighting looks dramatic in the pictures, but my room didn't have working light strips in the ceiling so there was no ambient light, which made shaving very difficult...
