Suwon Silkroad Hotel — Hotel in Suwon-si

The hotel is located about 10 mins away from Suwon Express Bus Terminal and isn't too far away from the Paldalmun Gate section of Hwaseong Fortress in Suwon. The hotel is surrounded by many restaurants, bars, and even nightclubs. If this isn't your thing, Suwon Station (and AK Plaza) isn't too far away. ||||When I arrived on May 12, 2017, the hotel was undergoing renovations. Despite this, the hotel was still clean, even if there was a slight smell of paint in the air. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and more than willing to help make our stay as enjoyable as possible. I stayed in the Deluxe Double Room and it was very comfortable. Additionally, the A/C worked GREAT! ||||I've visited various places in Seoul, Suwon, Cheonan, Pyeongtaek, Incheon, Jeonju, and Chinhae and, for the price, this was one of the nicer hotels I've stayed at. Additionally, the included breakfast was really good (although, only served from 07:00-09:00). The staff even offered to make eggs-to-order. I highly recommend this hotel and will be more than willing to stay here again if I'm staying...

It is a great place to accommodate. It is near to the city, and near the hotel there's a convenient store. The toilets at the base is clean and nice. The room... It is very nice. The only problem is that the toilet for every room doesn't have a lock. It's a problem if you're showering and someone can just enter the room. The hotel provide every of their guest breakfast, but only until 9:00 a.m. (if I am not mistaken). The meals are delicious, but there are some food that is uncertain whether it has pork or not. I ended up arriving early and was willing to wait for my room to be ready, but my room was ready, and I was able to go in. Everything was very clean, and the service was top-notch. It was pretty easy to get around and not too bad if you had to take a taxi. The area wasn't noisy. There were plenty of places to eat, including a healthy sandwich shop around the corner. I wish I could remember the name, but the ingredients were fresh, and there was English available, so no guessing. The place is like a Salady, but for sandwiches.
