Hidden Bay Hotel — Hotel in Yeosu-si

Nice things first... View and location is wonderful... Full view of the bay, islands and fishing boats outside... Great amount of parking space for those who are driving in... Wifi in rooms... Modern... Ish design and furnishing... Lcd TV... But nothing spectacular pew pew fireworks in the sky kinda vibe... Now the bad... Food is mediocre... If you're spending time in the yeonsu area I suggest going out and going to a restaurant instead... My family and I came during winter time... Even though there is a controller in each room you are unable to control the room temperature. The temperature is set at a bauming 28c from their centralized heating system. They are only able to turn off the heating system but not able to turn on the ac system. They provided us with a fan and told us to open the window for passive cooling. The fan was able to take the room down to 26c fair enough but it is still too hot for my comfort. We complained three times regarding this issue. First two times were ignored and was for passed on to other team members. Third time a young man promise to keep the heater off for us so at least the temperature won't go back up. This unfortunately did not happen as I returned back to the room to find a 28c room once again. Spoke with the manager who finally apologized to us for the inconvenience. Explained to us that nothing can be done... And offered for us To go to their in house sauna... Long story short... Customer service is lacking except for the one manager... Do not expect the level of comfort to be better than...

Our first room on the 7th floor stunk of pee near the toilet and out of the shower drain. We notified the staff and they “cleaned” the toilet but it still smelled. After finding a dirty, used coffee cup later that day, the hotel staff moved us to a different room on the 5th floor. This room also smelled bad - even worse than the room before. The next morning, we left a note asking the cleaning staff to clean the toilet extra well. When we got back from sightseeing, all the rooms smelled of pee. The smell had seeped out of the restroom and into the other rooms. We opened the windows and it still smelled of pee. We asked the hotel staff to please remove the bidet and make sure to clean in between the toilet and bidet covering. The staff said they “cleaned it” and proceeded to brush off our suggestion to change the bidet. They instead kept trying to move us to a different room. My uncle had to ask for a screwdriver, remove the bidet himself, and the hotel staff saw the layer of urine caked on toilet and bidet. Not only is the smell extremely disgusting, it’s a...

Considering the room rate, it has very good value for the money. Hidden Bay, as the best Hotel in Yeosu City, is highly recommended especially for families, couples...
