My Girlfriend and I visited this hotel in early September 2019 for our first abroad holiday. After the reviews we read on this hotel I was impressed, so we booked it. When we arrived, we weren’t disappointed. The greeting at reception was very welcoming and friendly. We arrived at the hotel around 11ish and our room was ready. So, after walking down to our room which we did upgrade to the Junior plus suit. Soon as we walked in, we were amazed. It was really clean and smelt nice. The views from the balcony was beautiful. The bed was massive and very comfy, with memory foam mattresses. The Room was large and light, perfect if you like space. We were also on the Third floor which we did like, as the views were wonderful. There is a lift in each building which came in handy after a few drinks of the night-time. ;).... The rest of the hotel was really clean, along with the landscaping. The staff always said hello, from the contractors to the main reception staff. The pool area was such a lovely place to sit, very quiet, picturesque and relaxing. There are three pools, but they are cold to be prepared. Next to the pools is a bar and a sitting area. Breakfast was also included in the package, which was a godsend as this meant we saved a lot of money on food. The selection was fantastic which consisted of, Hot food, Cold hams, fresh bread and baguettes. Fresh fruits and yogurts. There were also hot and cold drinks and fresh pastries. Just be aware of flies around this time of year as, this was the only thing I wish they had fly covers in the breakfast area. The times for breakfast was 8am-10:30am. The walk to the beach is around 20 mins, however it didn’t seem that long as the walk was pleasant, with nice views and interested wildlife on the way. (note to less able walkers, this hotel in based on top of a small hill but the road is steep) The hotel does operate a free shuttle bus that is every hour apart from the siesta hours. And the last bus to and from the beach is 18:45. The beach bus stop is situated opposite Arthur’s Restaurant near the taxi rank. The pickup times are the same as the drop off times. Overall, I really recommend this hotel, and I’m looking to book it again soon. Thank you, Staff, for a great week. Jack and Chloe

Lovely hotel; very modern, spacious and impeccably clean rooms. Pools were fabulous and had loads of sunbeds available. If you're self catering there is a small supermarket next to the hotel open 8am - 9pm each day - lots of choice, fresh bread baked on site and very reasonable prices. Hotel bar closes early at around 11pm each night - means that the hotel is very peaceful and perfect for families with young children or just those who like a reasonable bedtime! Set in quiet location on the very edge of the resort, next to fields and the nature reserve. Hotel runs a minibus to the centre of the resort/beach throughout the day until 7.45pm. Loads of bars and restaurants in Son Bou that are all very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend Aromatik, Las Dunas and the Hawaiian Bar. The middle beach bar Ses Garces is superb - the food was excellent and definitely book a table to see the sunset! Taxis are available in the resort near restaurants and bars for around €7 back to hotel. Public buses run to Mahon/Alaior each day including weekends, from a stop 2 mins walk away. Would recommend hiring a car to collect from the airport as prices in the resort/hotel are a lot higher! Those moaning about the air con - yes, maybe not as powerful/new as in other hotels we have stayed in abroad recently, but it did the job! We left a nectar card in the slot on the wall most of the time and it kept the room really cool - especially when the average temperature all week was 36-39°c!!! We kept it on at night too and it was more than ample 😎 Would definitely return to this hotel again - we had a wonderful, relaxing holiday here!

This was a return visit as we were so impressed by our first stay. It did not disappoint. Stayed in same block 6, floor 4, this time room 401. Evening view from window is shown on my review. Excellent apartment, bright and airy, kept impecably clean by amazing staff. Small critisisms are that the balcony in this room is not at all private, would be so much better with privacy screening, also air con in this room is not as effective as our last and can get a bit close when evening temperatures do not dip below 20°s. The restaurant here is its show piece and it is impossible to find fault with the choice of food (even me as a vegetarian), the ambience, and the exceptional staff! All areas of this hotel are immaculate if a little under-utilised. Need to know....if you intend to stay around the hotel grounds all day you better set your alarm early because the sun loungers are all reserved by 7am. If you intend to use the beach shuttle bus, again be organised as it only seats about 8 and only runs hourly. Reception can arrange car hire if required. Not being 'all inclusive' keeps this hotel a cut above the rest. If you are looking for a lively environment this probably is not for you. The pools are stunning, the grounds lush and beautifully maintained and it is peaceful. I am in no doubt there will be more visits here from me.

Rooms cleaned daily, spacious family room with balcony, very helpful staff, 3 outdoor swimming pools and a kids club. We're nearing the end of our stay here and have had a very positive experience. Our visit is before the season officially starts here and it has made it a rather unexpectedly positive experience. The hotel is quiet as it is probably less than half full at the moment. There is a half hourly shuttle taxi provided free of charge by the hotel staff who have been fantastic and have said to just call whenever we need it as there are so few guests using the service at the moment. True to their word they have let us use the service outside of the timetabled times, which was very kind as we were running late a couple of times. We paid for the breakfast included option and the kids have loved the selection on offer (and going up for 3 breakfasts). There are a few different sections; fresh fruits, yoghurts/cheese/fresh meats, fruit juices and my personal favourite coffee machine with lots of options, cakes, croissants and pastries, breads, fried breakfasts and a chef on hand to cook your omelette/eggs to order. The kids' club is good fun. I've enjoyed getting involved with the activities with the kids, it's a shame there is a reduced time table for off season, but it's understandable as there aren't enough guests here to account for the additional cost. We would have loved to have seen an evening disco before putting the kids to bed as that is usually a highlight of our holidays, watching the kids dance up on stage. The kids club is tucked away at the corner of the resort past the swimming pools and park. Don't be afraid to go up and ask what's going on, the kids love the things they have there. It's a chilled vibe here, the staff will leave you alone which is nice but are extremely friendly and helpful if you ask for any request, you just need to ask. Reception will call you a taxi. Press 9 on your phone in your room to reach them. The safe is €3 per day and I feel like not many people use this service as I was the first person to ask the lady on reception this season, which i feel shows the trustworthiness and safety of the hotel. The kids and a few other brave guests have enjoyed the outdoor pools. I imagine they're fantastic in the summer months, but with temperatures hovering around 20⁰ daily, I'd advise a wetsuit. They're cleaned daily and there is a lifeguard present. Toilets are available near reception and there is a room dedicated for guests luggage on checkout day. Overall, this has been a mega bargain holiday and I'm baffled as to why it's so quiet on the island. We have spent far more money in the past on holidays nowhere near as nice as this. Final mention is the location of the hotel. It sits right on the start of a walking/cycle path and is really worth a trip down it to see for yourselves. The landscape...

Unfortunately my friend and I did not have the best stay here. I'll start off with the positives of the hotel.

Room was great, spacious and clean, had a dodgy shower holder which was broken but other than this wasn't too bad. The cleaning lady was an absolute delight, very friendly every time we saw her and lovely with the children. Security good on door and balcony door.

3 pools in total, we only used the one which was nice enough, safe surroundings. Saw it being cleaned and well maintained.

The hotel itself looks fresh and clean, well decorated and appealing. Nice views around. Gardens are beautiful and well maintained.

Convenient shop right next door that we went to a lot for salads and drinks etc thank goodness for this shop.

Massage available near the pool

Unfortunately I feel there is more negatives that positives for this feedback. Food was horrific , so bad I hardly ate during our stay after my friend got food poisoning which ruined our holiday as she was so poorly for the duration. I informed the guy at reception and asked if there was another room I could go into with my baby daughter to give my friend space being so poorly she needed to stay in the room and wasn't nice for her. The guy didn't even address that my friend got food poisoning and said that there was a room available but I would have to pay. I had no problem with paying a reasonable amount for the remaining 3 nights we would be there but would have cost me £534 euros !

Was unable to give us correct instructions on how to catch the bus somewhere from reception, we gave up on the end. Was quite difficult to communicate as English not understood very well.

Sunbeds are an issue with people putting out towels before 7am in the morning to reserve, seemed to put out more sunbeds near the end of our holiday when it got busier.

The resort is very quiet surroundings and was too quiet for me personally. Was lovely during the day but had a speaker with some music playing in the evenings and that's it. There was a random bubble clown one night which was well yeh random... Just wasn't for me on this aspect.... Found the evenings hard and boring, just wanted to go sleep and wake up following day.

Lastly the WiFi is horrendous! If you needed to video call family the WiFi would constantly cut out and drop all the time. I even would go into the reception area in hope for signal to be stronger but still did the same , it drove me mad...

Really pleased with this apartment.|We stayed in superior junior suite which had everything we wanted and more.|Big comfy bed, so much space and spotlessly clean which continued throughout the week with continual visits from the very hardworking and friendly cleaning staff.|There was lots of hanging and storage space which was great and lots of hangers which is unusual.||The balcony overlooking the pool was lovely and gave us a great view of lovely countryside and fantastic sunsets.||The kitchen was equipped enough for our needs and we had a big fridge with freezer|Compartment which we had wanted as we like ice in our gin.||The breakfast was great selection every day and was fresh quality ingredients.|The restaurant staff were friendly, helpful and hardworking.|The restaurant is spacious and spotlessly clean and felt very relaxing.||The pool area was well looked after and also clean, the three pools are lovely and there were ample sunbeds, tables and parasols.|Was so lovely to not see people ‘saving sunbeds with towels’ which is one of my absolute bugbears.||The pool bar area was clean and very pretty, the drinks were a bit pricey but we only had a few there so wasn’t an issue.||The supermarket attached to the hotel is fabulous … so well equipped and very reasonably priced .. great selection of food and drinks with lovely fresh fruit and veg and bakery items.||The gym was very basic but clean and accessible.||We stayed in block 5B, which was lovely and quiet.. we could see the entertainment from our balcony but we didn’t have the morning wake up alarms from the gang of cockerels who live nearby 🤣 not that I’d have minded as I’m an early riser but I’m sure some may have found it a bit loud.||The shuttle bus service running to the beach and son boy centre every 15 mins is a godsend and we used it a lot.|We quite enjoyed the ride into son bou and a lovely stroll back later after dinner.||Reception staff were so friendly and helpful … if I had any moan at all it would be that we arrived at 10 in the morning and couldn’t get into our room until 3 BUT we didn’t enjoy a drink at the bar, a wander into son bou for lunch, a good old explore of the area on the way back even though it was stupidly hot and then a well earned swim or 2 in the pool.||Really pleased with this hotel and we had a lovely...
