Refugio Castro — Hotel in Barreiros

Solo decir que después de pagar tres días por anticipado y pedirle al dueño la anulación de la reserva por defunción,me dijo que era imposible devolver el dinero.asi que decidimos ir para olvidar un poco los problemas. Llegamos a las 12:00 y el dueño nos comentó que vengamos a las dos horas, que tenían que limpiar la habitación. Lógico y normal y nos fuimos a tomar algo y dar una vuelta. El dueño parecía un poco despistado y no se enteraba muy bien,fue mi primera impresión.volvemos a las 2 horas y media entro y esta vez hay una chica y el dueño en la mini recepción.en el bar no hay nadie tomando nada y hace un calor asfixiante. Me dicen que que quiero y les digo de nuevo quien soy y ahora me dice la chica que la entreda es a las 15:00 y que lo pone en booking, a lo que le respondo, lo primero que yo he echo la reserva directamente por tf y con el dueño y la enseño el mail de la reserva en el cual no pone nada,cosa que deberían informar ellos y no preocuparse tanto en cobrar tan rápido, y que el dueño que está al lado me ha dicho que a las 14:00 tendría la habitación.y en vez de decirme, tomaros algo y ahora mismo la tendréis etc etc salta el dueño que la ley si me pongo así y el no quiere hasta la 15 no entro o las 17 si me pongo asi. Me quedo flipado y le digo que ley ni que na que el me ha dicho que estaría a esa hora pero que ha que viene esas contestaciones que es un mal educado. Contesta que no le interesó y le digo que me devuelvan el dinero y me voy. A lo que responde que si, cosa que dijo que era imposible por tf un mes antes.de todas formas me hizo un favor ya que me fui al hotel de más adelante el San Bartolomé super simpáticos y más barato encima.y su hijo en plan portero de discoteca detrás,lo que le comento mi mujer si quería algo y contesto que estaba para ver si solucionaba la cosa.lo que le contesto mi mujer, que si matón,claro ya está solucionado, nos están devolviendo el dinero y aquí os quedáis con vuestro Superhotel. Los camareros estaban muy serios nadie en el bar y en la terraza dos giris a las 14:30 de la tarde por algo será.no se os ocurra ir por ahí, no lo aconsejo para nada. Muy mal educado y como despistado y pasota. Un cero. Respuesta: yo no me equivoco, fuimos alli en 2018 y llevo intentando poner la reseña todo ese tiempo. Ahora me lo han perdido y tengo los mail y todo para justificar dicha reseña. Cosa que a ustedes no pienso enviar nada ni tengo porqué y menos después del trato que recibimos. Me afirmó en dicha Reseña. Y no soy el único que opina mal de su establecimiento, eché un vistazo a todas las reseñas. Osea que de falso Nada. Ahora pondre alguna foto para demostrarlo. Ahí tienes el mail, y una foto a la espera de que me quisieran dar la habitación en la parte de atrás, lo cual demuestra que esto es totalmente REAL, y lo poco humilde que son ustedes después de el mal trato recibido y encima amenazantes. What a find! We stayed in the room with the hot tub, huge room & very clean. I've attached pictures of the hot tub - it's a new one, much bigger than the one in most of the photos. Lovely to sit in it & enjoy the view of the sea with a bottle of fizz, just make sure you start filling it about an hour before you want it! The staff were very nice, not much English spoken but we got by. The location is superb, beautiful beaches, and a 5k walk to the Cathedrals Beach, it took us an hour each way (not dawdling!) and there are places to stop & have a drink/food on the way. Breakfast was good, freshly baked croissants, excellent coffee & fresh juice, but it doesn't start until 8.30am. We also ate dinner here, very good - super fresh seafood, the Chipirones (baby squid) were the best, along with more fizz and a beautiful sunset, an evening hard to beat. For a beach lover, this is a location to die for. Perched on the cliff looking over a gorgeous beach in both directions, and with easy stairs to get down to the sand. Surfers started to arrive soon after the glorious sunrises, but went for a couple of spots with the biggest waves. Most of the beach was practically empty, although I am sure in midsummer there would be a lot more people -- and warmer water! It wasn't so cold as to stop me from getting in and playing in the surf.|| Our room was on the ocean side, and we enjoyed the balcony for a picnic style meal. Breakfasts were included, and had plenty of choices for us. Besides the on-site restaurant, there are a couple of other choices an easy walk away.
