Came here for an early evening meal and needed Wifi. I went to other places nearby but they either didn’t serve food at 4pm or have Wifi… A basic place with a number of locals, but a pleasant and fast service from the staff and lots of fun talk and laughing from all - a nice atmosphere. The menu was mainly tapas but also some nice main dishes. I had calamares from the tapas and a sea bass from the main dish plus some glasses of rose wine. Third time in Barreiros, third time in A Ribeira. It's one of these nice places by the road, with sea view and very local customers, I love it. Great to grab a beer and have some snacks. The kitchen highlight is the Zamburiñas 🦪 The fried chipirones (little squids) were also good. Stopped for menu del dia while walking the Cantábrico Camino. The food was tasty and plentiful. We had the paella to start, I had the fish as a second and my husband had lamb. He had ice cream for dessert and I had Santiago cake. Everything was great. The menu plus 2 glasses of wine were €28.40. The restaurant was popular with tourists and locals.
