Love this campsite. First of all, it is really well signposted and we had no problem finding it. It has a swimming pool, showers and all the usual stuff but the main attractions are the trees and mountains surrounding the area. The two gentlemen who run it are very helpful and easy going. You can get a local bus right at outside the site for Granada for only 1 euro40 per person one way. The site will also book the Alhambra for you as well. Sitting at the site with wonderful scenery, crispy autumn leaves and colours, and warm sun was delightful. Wanted to stay there longer. People coming and going but never really full at this time of year so lovely and quiet at night. Restaurant just at the entrance to the site and although we never actually ate there, the smell of the dishes being cooked was wonderful. Read moreExcellent campsite with mixed nationality guests. Really friendly welcome from very good English speaker in reveption. Pitches are covered in small gravel and are arranged on flat walled terraces on hillside. Most have shade from trees and some have good views of the Sierra Nevada mountains. We paid €19 a night (we don't need electricity). There is a small pool and clean and well maintained toilet and shower block. Good Wifi and hot water for washing dishes and a washing machine and dryer available for €5. There is an independant restaurant at the entrance which we did not visit, but which is apparantly recommended. This is the perfect spot to visit Granada and the Alhambra or the Sierra Nevada. There is even a bus which stops several times a day at the campsite and will take you to Granada city...

He apologised for the pool still being renovated and advised us to choose a pitch away from that side of the site. There is a pizza restaurant on-site which isn’t owned by the campsite and we had dinner and drinks there later. The facilities were adequate, although the light went off when I was still changing; it has a sensor timer for energy saving. There are a couple of washing machines outside the toilet and shower block which serves as the laundry as well.
Disliked: We were only staying 1 night so the pool being closed didn’t bother us but Pitchup.com should update this, as it’s not expected to be open for a...
