Casa Videira Turismo Rural — Hotel in Bueu

A little bit difficult to find (no road markings) even if with a satellite navigator, because situated in the interior of the town, it is an isle of green, quietness, good staying, friendiness, above all out of the summer crowd of Bueu (Pontevedra, Spain). Good base for sea trips to the isles and to visit the very far part of Galitia. Unfortunately we probably got the smallest room they had, but it was clean and enough confortable, except the small window with only a shutter extendable: a little bit claustrophobic. Be aware! it is an agritourism, not an hotel, even if of really good standing! So no conditioning (not necessary in the night), no swimming pool and other amenities; . But there is a beautiful garden full of fruit trees, where to rest, if it is not too warm, in the afternoon. You can taste, at breakfast, the cakes prepared by the proprietor Mrs. Rosa, and, in the late evening, an anchovy "empanada", drinking cold wite wine: a good start for the very late night dinner, like...

We confirmed a visit to check out the place for a wedding celebration. On the day of the visit, no one there was aware and the person that was supposed to show us around was shopping or something else. The staff in there tried to carry out the visit as they best could, but the owner/ manager did not even care to apologise, and simply gosthed us on WhatsApp until my sister called her. Pasamos fin de semana en mayo un grupo grande, desde meses antes Rosa nos ayudó con la organización, nos facilitó fotos y detalles de las habitaciones, unas tienen ducha, otras bañera, unas dos camas, otras cama de matrimonio, para poder asignar a cada uno la más apropiada, en función de las necesidades. la mantuvimos en vilo hasta el último minuto, estado de alarma si, estado de alarma no, cierres perimetrales... Que si hoy somos tantos, mañana cuantos... y en todo momento comprensiva colaboradora con nuestra situación.

Al llegar nos recibió Agustina, encantadora en todo momento, desviviendose por ayudar y hacer agradable la estancia.

La casa es tal como se ve en las fotos, una casa típica gallega, con sus grandes muros, su hórreo , el molino, el rio que la rodea.... y unos jardines preciosos que lamentablemente no pudimos disfrutar ya que nos tocó un dia típicamente gallego, lluvioso y desapacible, aun así y siendo mayo, Rosa había puesto la calefacción y las habitaciones estaban calentitas y muy agradables, lo que hace de la casa un lugar para disfrutar tanto los exteriores con el buen tiempo, como para pasar dentro en sus zonas comunes, un agradable fin de semana en la...
