Casa del Capitán — Hotel in Cadaqués

We have just returned from an extraordinary week at Casa Del Capitan in Cadaques. We had a large group which the house is perfect for, but also required a lot of planning ahead of time and assistance once we arrived coordinating meals, activities and housekeeping. From start to finish, the help we received was flawless. From planning with Richard at Charming Villas to the care we received from Laura and her team once we arrived, the service was exceptional.

Now, to the beautiful town of Cadaques! The house is located just outside the town in Port Ligat. It is a lively and fun town for all ages and takes about 20 minutes to walk on a nice, yet hilly walking path. Unless we were needing groceries, we did not require our cars. We went into town each day for shopping or a meal and spent the rest of the time swimming, boating or relaxing at the house. There are two beautiful coves to swim at just below the house. I highly recommend boating to Joncols or La Pelosa for lunch, and taking a cruise on the Sant Isidre is a must.

While I would not plan to leave the area during your visit, i highly recommend a visit to Girona or Collioure on your way to or from Cadaques

All in all, an absolutely epic stay and celebration with our family and friends. We are so grateful to the entire team at Charming Villas, Casa del Capitan and the lovely, welcoming people...

We had a truly wonderful holiday at Casa del Capitan, surrounded by all our children and grandchildren. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and exceptionally well looked after by Laura and her team—their care and attention made our stay feel extra special.

The villa itself is absolutely stunning—beautifully designed and perfectly positioned with magnificent views over the bay of Port Lligat. Waking up to the sea, enjoying the pool, and spending time in such peaceful, private surroundings was a dream.

The house is spacious and elegant, with every comfort thoughtfully provided. Being located within a private park and yet having direct access to the sea made it feel like our own slice of paradise. It’s hard to imagine a better setting for a family holiday.

Casa del Capitan truly lives up to its reputation as a luxury villa in Cadaqués, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. A huge thank you to everyone who made our stay...

Just a few words to say that we had one the most amazing experiences of our life at Casa del Capitan in Cadaques during this month of July.

The location and the Villa are simply unique and the spirit and influence of Dalí was everywhere with a modern touch and a great contemporary comfort. Having direct access to the sea and a pristine clear water and a 360 degree view on the diverse landscape gave us a sense of being so privileged. Not to mention the 5 stars service and the quality of the food.
