This message is for RCI. Take this location off of the options!!!. The service that this place provided was horrible. The location is pretty. However, you receive one set of towels to wash yourself for the whole week. They were missing items out of the room like soap and a trash bag and I went to reception to get these items and they insisted you only get one per week. Okay yes there was a trash bag inside the can when we entered the room but no replacement bag. Is 2 to much to ask. A trash can the size of a small bathroom sized trash can to place food into for the week. They were so rude!!! Okay so we have 1 set of towels so you get 1 packet of soap to wash them. Unacceptable!!!! 7 days!!!!. I understand conserving but this was almost criminal. We had to resort just putting the trash/ food in the trash can with no bag and dealing with the smell for the rest of the time. We cook our food daily we get from the market. Sadly I even saw another guest who had 3 kids asking for towels as well who stated she needed towels and there are no paper towels so you probably will use the towels to clean and dry your hands. Well if you cooked chicken and wanted to use one of the hand towels to dry your hands that will be the same towels you use to wash your body and face because you only get one!!!! No face towels. 1 hand towels and 1 body towel. What a disgrace. I will never come back and I urge others to rethink this place as well. It's just not a good place for tourists maybe the locals understand what's going on here but this is absolutely not a tourist destination. Very disappointed in RCI and I have had RCI for 15 years and have never been to a place this horrible as far a service and kindness. Also the check in process was horrible they don't answer the phone at all only an emergency number so of course we called to inform them our flight was coming in late. We would have never been able to get our room if another friendly couple had not assisted us. We didn't even get the email. They didn't answer the emergency line until after 6 trys that costs money to call. Roaming. Also no reception. They gave us no map of the area. They told us nothing about where things were, they told us nothing about amenities. Wow!!! Unbelievable!!! It's Weds can't wait to get out of here on vacation counting the days is no way to spend your relaxing time. Very disappointed. The location was...
Read morePlease read the reviews before you book it is exactly as it is described on here. It’s nothing like the photos they promote on their website. ||First thing the place is dirty. The rooms are not cleaned if you stay less than 7 nights and there is no towel change. We stayed for 5 nights and there was no cleaning and no towel change. The floors /walls are visibly dirty . In the bathroom the lights don’t work properly and the beauty mirror was damaged. The hairdryer in the bathroom didn’t work. My friend also has the same issue in room so it seems a common issue so please bring your own if you need one. You are given 2 toilet rolls as a courtesy…. When I requested some more they told me I had to buy my own at the local supermarket (which is about 25mins walk) . I have never in my life experienced that in any hotel. Again my friend had the same response and was in a different type of room. ||The pool doesn’t open till 11.00am and the gate is chained so you can’t get in prior. Not great at all. The pool area is again filthy. The floor of the pool is mouldy. The toilets at the pool are dirty and there was no soap in the male bathroom at the pool all week. Pool bar closed 2 days after arriving but when we did use it . It was 3 euro for a very small paper cup of beer. The burger we had for 15 euro was raw in the middle and the chips are potatoes. ||The hotel/apartments are situated at the top of a very large hill. Definitely not one for small children/prams/mobility concerns. Taxi into the main bit where the supermarket is and restaurants is 10 euro. ||On check out day the key card stopped working at 10 so please be aware as you can’t get back into the room. Again 10am check out is very early compared to other places I’ve been. Check in also at 4 so that’s a massive difference. If you want to check in before 4 it’s 20 euro even when the room is ready. ||Reception is not 24 hours and closes teatime/evening. there is a small cupboard in reception which has a few items in you can buy at a reasonable price (but no toilet rolls! )||The breakfast was nice but the restaurant was disappointing . We had a meal during the day and was presented with slimy octopus which cost 24 euro and a burger which was served medium /rare when we asked for it to be well done. ||Basically you get what you pay for except your...
