Casa Barranca — Hotel in Frigiliana

Casa Barranca is a Gem. We spent a magical time in this lovely self catering accommodation, delighting in the thoughtful design, colourful wall hangings and artwork throughout. All the creature comforts are catered for both indoors and out, with large beds , great showers and all the seating full of many cushions. The kitchen is exceptionally well appointed and a utility room is a bonus for the traveller. We loved having breakfast on the terrace surrounded by the rural views of Spain, the avocado, lemon and orange trees while listening to the birdsong. This was in the sunshine in late February. Stunning villa in a quiet residential area. The pictures (although gorgeous) don’t do justice to the villa and the views - every window and seat has a different view all of which are amazing. The villa was spotlessly clean and is lovely and coo, with air con in the bedrooms which was lovely for the warm nights. The kitchen is well equipped, as is the rest of the villa. The pool was glorious and welcome in the heat. Sunsets with a bottle of wine and bbq - could have stayed forever. Complete relaxation. The villa is located down some local windy roads so we would recommend a car. Loved the local cats!...

I had the most wonderful experience staying at this villa, the area is gorgeous and there are many hikes to see the beautiful views. It’s a quiet area with good access to the beach and supermarkets, as well as lovely local restaurants, bars and shops to get a real authentic experience. The villa was beautiful and it was lovely to relax in the pool, and the AC in the rooms was a godsend on warmer nights! I would go back in a heartbeat and would definitely...
