This is indeed a very good and well run hotel with much thought and attention given to the needs of guests. Rooms 1-6 are on the first floor and have a sea view, rooms 7-8 on the same floor and 9-10 on the ground floor. We were in room 2 which has a bigger but still secluded balcony. Read moreI loved this place! I cannot image a better place to stay if you visit this part of the country. The staff (owners) are very nice and very helpful. The location could not be better (if you have a car and like the countryside). Our room was very nice although a bit crowded since we were three people sharing a room for two. We picked figs, walnuts and other fruits on our walk down to the town (abt 20 minutes)...||I would love...
Read morewhy stay here? because you want to bask in all that is beautiful in spain without the stress of being in the middle of any stress. perched on a hilltop, overlooking the water, the town of getaria, the rolling hills and the private vineyard. lounging on our patio watching the world go by. eating a wonderful breakfast on the outdoor patio, having a snack in the kitchen instead of driving to eat in town, walking around getaria, driving the coast from bilbao to san prudentzio. then being able to watch the sun pass by and out of view. all from this wonderful hotel. a lady at the desk named marina was especially warm and helpful and i believe she should be nominated for sainthood after not getting upset by my losing 3 keys. if you are ever in the area of the bay of biscay and do not want to spend the big dollars for a stay in san...
