Izarri Okindegia — Restaurant in Getaria

What an amazing place to have breakfast! We were on a holiday in Getaria and are from the Netherlands. The breakfast is very tasty and there’s lots of choice. For both sweet and salty breakfast. The coffee tastes great too. But what stood out even more (and that says something, since the food is already so good!) are the two most sweet & friendly ladies. We came back every day during our stay and if it would have been possible I would have adopted them as my second moms, haha. Without kidding; if you’re ever near or in Getaria, this is the place to be. And next to all of this, the prices are also very good. 1.5 for a cappuccino and for the luxury pastries. We feel sad for having to go home. And will definitely come back if we ever...

I happened to stop in here a few years ago doing the Camino de Santiago. It's unassuming and outside the touristic center of town (as well as the Camino--I was lost at the time!). Since then I've been at least once each year. Consistently the best pastel vasco I have had. It's worth the trek...

En un reciente viaje al País Vasco me hospedé en un alojamiento rural en Getaria, y éste era el lugar más cercano para tomar el desayuno fuera del hotel. Me sorprendió la gran variedad de mermeladas Bonne Mamam con la que podías acompañar el pan. El mismo era de barrita y podías escoger entre diferentes opciones de cereales, si bien yo siempre escogí la barrita de semillas de amapola.No se trata de un sitio turístico, sino que el mismo siempre tiene diferentes parroquianos que van a tomarse el café de la mañana, en alguna de sus mesas interiores. Al final acabamos desayunando aquí todos los días porque nos atendieron de forma magnífica. En cuanto al precio estaba entre 2-3 euros el café con barrita (mantequilla-mermelada),...
