We have traveled all over Europe and in particular Spain and we have wanted to visit Jerez for years. Being a sherry fan and knowing the food would be good, it has been high on our list.||We chose the Ibis because they are great value, clean, dry and warm and very reliable but by far, this is the best we have stayed in. ||The hotel is spotlessly clean, the food was good but, by far its best feature is the welcome you get from Rafael and his fantastic staff. The reception staff were hugely helpful and very knowledgeable and we really appreciated this after a long journey.||Great staff providing great customer services flow from the lead taken by the manager and Rafael could not have been more gracious. He engaged with us in conversation and gave us some great advice about the city. He was also interested in us and this made us feel welcome and valued.||The weather during our stay was very wet and so, to do justice to the city we will come back later in the year. We will definitely be staying at...

We stayed for 5 nights with the family.
The location is very good if you plan to explore the Cádiz area. We used it as a base to visit the surrounding region. It's not a great location for walking to Jerez, but Jerez is small, and you can go to the city center by car. Parking is free.
The hotel is decent considering its star rating, but I believe it needs modernization and better-equipped rooms. Nonetheless, we rested very well. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was quite modern and convenient. Additionally, the hotel was very quiet, and we didn't have any problems with noise or neighbors. However, the room was not spacious. The furniture was very limited, unattractive, and of poor quality. There was no refrigerator or safe. Wifi is free but I don't think it was very safe.
The lobby area was nicely decorated and inviting for relaxation. The breakfast and restaurant are in the same lobby, separated by various decorative elements. The breakfast was quite good. As a negative point, I think the price of ice creams is exorbitant.
The pool was a bonus for cooling off, but there was limited space, and the water had a lot of chlorine.
The service and staff were very good. The room cleaning was particularly excellent, and everything was spotless every day. The cleaning service did a great job. The restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful.
I recommend this hotel to other travelers. You won't have luxurious amenities, but it won't bother you if your goal is to relax...
Read moreWe recently stayed for 3 nights at this hotel as part of visiting Jerez and Cadiz. Our experiences at this hotel mostly exceeded our expectations. The staff were first class, they handled every requests in using our 'spanglish' variant on the Spanish language (Spanish with an English twist!!) And what was not understood by words was understood by gestures so both parties understood! We particularly got on very well with Jose Manuel who we saw each evening when we ate in the restaurent. He is a very convivial person and is a credit to the hotel. We did have one gripe, which is that there were an increasing number of menu offers that were unavailable due to delivery problems. The staff did their best to work around this issue. We would recommend this hotel as it is close to the old town. Thanks again Ibis Jerez for making our...
