Cabanas Narea — Hotel in Laxe

Amazing little gem! I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to disconnect in a very comfortable, spacious, clean and relaxing place.

Definitely get the hot tub villa if that’s your thing, it worked really well and was a great way to unwind in the evening.

The TV worked perfectly, we loved being able to use AC or heat when needed too, but the fresh air was really nice too so we didn’t always turn it on.

The kitchen is small but perfect to store groceries and make small meals and we were surprised how well the mini fridge and freezer worked!

Our dog came with us and LOVED IT! Honestly one of the best dog friendly places we’ve stayed.

We were so comfortable and grateful to the Narea team for providing such a cool oasis!

One small note that is unrelated to the cabanas, is we personally found Laxe to be lacking in options to dine, and the grocery store in town has very limited hours, so we’d probably reccomend coming prepared just in case.

We enjoyed a wonderful, peaceful 4-night stay in the 2-bedroom Babuxa cabin, as two couples. The cabin was clean and tidy, equipped with the basics needed for a self-contained stay, with a great terrace including a hammock seat, two sun lounges and an outdoor dining table and chairs. Though we did not use it air conditioning is available. The property is calm and beautiful and we loved listening to the waves crashing on the beach in the evening and the birds in the morning. We received excellent advice from Jose about things to do in and around Laxe, including hikes. We recommend taking a walk to the lighthouse and crystal beach. The views along the coastal walk are phenomenal. In our opinion the cabin may be a bit too cosy for 4 adults for longer stays, or if it is too cold to sit outside. Hemos estado encantados con nuestra estancia, pese a que no pudimos disfrutarla al 100% por temas climatológicos. La cabaña Orballo está decorada con mucho gusto y es muy cómoda, y está muy bien aislada a nivel sonoro, no tanto a nivel lumínico, ya que entra bastante luz por la mañana en la habitación. En cuanto a la dotación de recursos, se echa de menos algún tipo de “pack básico” de alimentos, con algo de azúcar, sal o aceite, que son las típicas cosas que te olvidas siempre, o servilletas o papel de cocina, por el mismo motivo. En el baño, que además de champú haya gel tampoco estaría de más. Los exteriores de la cabaña son magníficos, desde el pequeño terrenito vallado que hizo las delicias de nuestro chihuahua, hasta el recinto cerrado de las cabañas, amplio y extremadamente bien cuidado. Y nada más cruzar la puerta del complejo, acceso directo al paseo marítimo de Laxe y a la maravillosa playa de la localidad, perfecta para recorrértela de lado a lado disfrutando de las vistas.
