Hostal El Tejar — Hotel in Layos

After the initial confusion about the automated keys,codes and check in....(which would be really handy if arriving out of hours) they let us in at reception anyway. Spotless clean room, a little small, however, cool as they have floor cooling so no need for AC which we don't like sleeping in so perfect. Quiet. 5 mins walk into the village with few restaurants and bars. Lovely family run hotel. They kindly let us park our car inside so we didn't need to remove bikes off roof unpack car etc. Really good location just outside of Toledo without the need to get the car stickers and permissions etc for emissions. We will stay again when next driving...

No hay nada de personal, todo el checking es online y te dan una clave para entrar. Teníamos 3 habitaciones, una olía a tabaco mezclado con ambientador, otra a tubería y la otra con los enchufes sacados de la pared a riesgo de que te dé la corriente. Además, está al lado de un restaurante que hace eventos, nos tocó el sábado que había una boda o algo así y entre el grupo de música (cantaba mal) y después la música que pusieron, más las voces de los invitados, no dormimos en toda la noche, así que cuidado con ir y que haya evento, porque no vas a dormir nada. Por supuesto no sabíamos nada de este evento. Como no pudimos abrir las ventanas por el ruido, dormimos con el aire puesto toda la noche. Incluso con las ventanas cerradas, se escucha la música como si estuvieras en la propia fiesta. La verdad es que sabiendo que no hay ningún trabajador y que te puede tocar evento con la música a tope, no recomiendo este hostal.
