Hotel Rural Cuartamenteru — Hotel in Llanes

This little hotel is great! To start, I had a beautiful view of the start of the mountain range heading into the ‘Pico de Europa’ national park... from my window. A very abundant breakfast in a terrace that also looks over the mountains.||||The brothers who own the property are very friendly and took the time upon arrival to explain and note on the map, the beautiful, must see, hikes along the ocean, which you get to in about ten minutes!!||||There is a very good restaurant just minutes away, the Xarada is a happy place that’s family oriented. You can’t help but notice the happy atmosphere while dining. The first night I had a great traditional dish of Austria which is ‘Fabada’ or Cosido! We had a wonderful stay for 4 nights at Hotel Rural Cuartamenteru. The staff is really friendly and helpfull. The room was very clean and especially the view from the terrace was breathtaking. I can recommend to have dinner at the nearby pub (el romano) wich belongs to the same family. Traditional food in a beautiful surrounding between apple trees and view to the picos de europa. I have stayed at Cuartamenteru for the last three years and it never disappoints. I love the location and the genuine rural feeling. As usual, the rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable and the welcome was friendly. we were treated to a glass on freshly squeezed apple juice straight from the press on arrival. There is now a new addition of a small bar in the El Romano orchard. with beers, wine and of course their Sidra as well as snacks and food orders this was brilliant. Will be back...
