Definitely one of the nicest and best located MVCI properties. Little two or three bedroom houses surrounded by two golf courses and a hotel. The villas have pools for every 8 or so properties and each villa has a little terrace with a barbecue. The villas are relatively sparse in keeping with the “vibe” although each one has a decent kitchen with washing facilities and tvs in the lounge and each bedroom. I found the staff to be friendly, professional and knowledgeable. It’s a terrific place for all types of holidays and the nearest town Llucmajor is a little gem with very good restaurants. Beware of the taxi mafia. The prices can vary and in my opinion the females are most trustworthy.

The Marriott’s Club Son Antem resort is a fantastic location for a relaxed family Holiday and takes great care for those who want to get away from the family trouble. The SPA i.e. is open to people from a certain age. The main Hotel Bar features great live music and the restaurant “finca” has the friendliest staff. You can play golf and tennis as well as go to the gym. I thought the gym missed on a few machines but it was still good equipped. Also you can do classes like pilates there. The best thing is the fresh air around the resort. I’ll be there every year now.

This resort is definitely focused on golf. They have very good deals for unlimited play. For non golfers I would recommend looking elsewhere. It's not near the beach and a car is needed to get anywhere. The rooms were very comfortable. many small pools plus the main pool which requires a walk. Spa is completely closed on weekends. very limited dining options but a 24 x 7 market that has good options at hotel prices. grounds are not very attractive. staff were very pushy about doing the timeshare meeting even though we visited as owners of other location.

Club Son Antem is a lovely resort and the units are great, beds extremely comfortable and lovely linens. We were on the 600 street, so a very short walk to the clubhouse, golf and regular amenities including the indoor pool, spa, Finnish sauna, lending library, excellent fitness room, reception, market place, restaurant and reception. Each street has charging facilities for electric vehicles, the Iberdrola charging app on your phone is required.|An unexpected and pleasant surprise was that housekeeping came in every day to make the beds and remove the trash, as well as supply additional dishwasher and laundry detergent. Our unit had both bedrooms (one en-suite) upstairs, overlooking the golf course, no balcony. People we spoke to in another style of 2 bed unit, had the master downstairs and 2nd bedroom upstairs with a large balcony. Ideal for anyone with mobility issues.|A car is a must. It's about a 10 minute drive into nearby Lluchmayor, 20 from the airport and 30 into Palma city.|The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, in fact all staff members we encountered were great. We reported a minor issue and they sent a maintenance person in minutes and he, too, was very helpful. Two pieces of constructive criticism about our unit was the location of the microwave. It was on the same level as the upper cabinets but located over the worksurface in such a way it was almost inaccessible for the average person, even with the help of the folding steps, given it was above the 'L' configuration of the lower units and the door opened towards you.|Television programmes: the only English speaking channels were news only, BBC News, CNN and Alj Azeera. More are needed. There were countless in German and Italian and obviously Spanish. We speak fluent Spanish but had family with us and they do not.|Extensive roadwork involving new pipework was going on in the streets, but we were informed in advance and it was a minor convenience.|There is a a 5 star hotel next to the main timeshare building, part of the Marriott group, Hacienda Son Antem Golf Resort Autograph Collection. We weren't permitted to use the facilities, just the restaurant. We've stayed several times at Marriott's Lakeshore Reserve, Orlando, which is on the same complex as the J.W. Marriott and Ritz Carlton. There, the timeshare guests are allowed to use the facilities in the hotel, with certain black out dates. We went for dinner, booking a table, presuming it would be the same a la carte menu we'd been shown earlier in the day, to find out it was a buffet and in all honesty, it was not what I would call a 5-star buffet. The staff were rushing around like crazy obviously under staffed and 72 euros for 2, plus drinks, seemed high given the very average buffet.|All in all we enjoyed our visit. We lived in Mallorca for many years and were doing a 'trip down...

At check in we were forced to supply a credit card to be granted access to the villa we had booked, since the membership owner of 20 yrs, accidentally my father, with whom I share a last name, hadnt fill up a “name change” form, as per "new corporate policy”…(Meanwhile a friend who went to her parents property in Paris was granted immediate access!) and I was threatened by a very Unhelpful clerck “who was just doing his job”, to be charged for the entire stay if I didnt provide it by the following day.||The manager on site NEVER make an appearance, despite my requests and the entire staff was extremely unpleasant and uncooperative, so much so that I was on the verge of a nervous breakdown!||Once charged for a one night stay, we finally managed to get into the villa to find out the garden was inhabited by a couple of cats, hens and a rooster, which EVERY SINGLE DAWN woke us up, despite the assurance the situation would have been taken care of, after the first complaint!!||Too bad it is impossible to load videos to share the crows cheering us up at 5 oclock EVERY MORNING, forcing us to buy earplugs, while keeping the windows closed, despite the summer temperatures, to try and sleep!||||Hens and rooster were also free to scratch around the private pool area, despite the presence of a lifeguard, who simply pretended to shoo the away, forcing us to leave, make us wonder if in Son Antem fowls are as sacred as cows in India!?!🤔||||Should we wanted to be surrounded by bothersome poultry, we would have gone to a farm, not to a 650€ a night resort and what would have happened if me or my guests were allergic to cats or worse suffer of Alektorophobia and have panic attacks because of the chicken??.. Has Marriott Management ever heard of "Avian Flu"????||||After the horrible check in experience and the disturbing dawn wake up calls, not to mention the poultry pooping in the porch, not only we didnt receive any excuse from the property management and any kind of compensation for the inconvenience we had to endure, but the last day we were also REFUSED by a supposedly "manager on site" the request to check out just ONE hour later...

Robbed at Marriott Club Son Antem (Palma de Mallorca)

During the month of September, we spent 12 days at Marriott Club Son Antem, at Palma de Mallorca. On September 8th, all our family (including our 2-year old baby boy and my 83-year old father in law) went out for dinner. The only one night in which we left Marriott. When we came back, our Marriott Villa had the main door closed from the inside. We were able to access from yard, which had full access from totally dark golf course, through our room, where the door lock was violented and broken. Our safety box was also broken and all our belongings, stolen. We informed about this to Marriott's security man, but he said he was 7kms away and was the only safety guy in place. However, our Villa was located outside security area and had full access not only from golf course but as well from main Street. Until next day, late afternoon, Marriott did not change our Villa. We had to sleep that night with our door broken and everything messed up. The next "holidays" until we left were awful. No one at Marriott with a minimum empathy. My husband and father in law spent one afternoon at hospital for the stress this situation caused. We started a claim with Marriott and Marriott sent our claim to the insurance company who concluded without providing any information on investigation, that hotel had all security measures in place. So, thieves were able to: 1) access Marriott's premises without no control at all, 2) investigate, which family left the Villa that night, 3) break the door with no security guard seeing this because he was far away, 4) no cameras detected this either, 5) thieves had the time to break a safety box and leave premises with bags and whatever, in an unregistered car. So, which security measures are the ones Marriott needs to protect their customers?? How is it possible that we were exposed to this situation, on an expensive Marriott and they did not even recognize a minimum flaw in their measures? This is how Marriott loved their customers and takes care of them....
