MON - Come y Sueña — Hotel in Monforte de Lemos

We should have realised there was a reason the place was empty on a Sunday lunchtime but we wanted to support one of the few restaurants in Monforte that offers a veggie option.

Once we were seated we began to notice the smell, which we eventually decided was of sewage. In hindsight, we should have left then but it was cold and raining; perhaps some hot soup would warm us up. Sadly, the soup was water thin and cold while the main course was tasteless, thoughtless and unseasoned.

Warm welcome, cool vibes. My host was wonderful! The room with private bathroom was awesome, comfy and homely with throw blankets and decor. The cafe downstairs opens 8.30am and I highly recommend you start your day there, beautiful coffee and a good selection of cakes, toast et al. Hemos ido a pasar el puente de mayo y las habitaciones no son nada del otro mundo pero ya sabíamos la categoría del hotel. En el baño no había papel higiénico y como no hay recepción, encontramos una puerta donde ponía Privado y como estaba abierta, cogimos el papel. La cisterna no funcionaba bien, le dabas y con un poco de suerte, al de 10 minutos soltaba algo de agua. Levantamos la tapa de la cisterna y si le dábamos a un plástico azul, conseguíamos k cargara. A la mañana siguiente se lo comunicamos a la hija de la propietaria y nos dijo k lo iba a mirar. Al llegar a la noche, comprobamos k no habían hecho nada y además, ya ni cargaba. Les dijimos k así no podíamos estar y la contestación fue k cogiéramos agua con vasos o botellas para tirar por el baño a lo k les pedimos por lo menos un cubo. Cuando marchamos les dijimos k nos bajaron algo del precio y nos contestaron k lo de la cisterna era un mal menor, k por lo menos pudimos dormir. SÍ REALISTA TOTAL.. NO SE...
