This hotel is a true gem! The spacious rooms in the multi story house are perfect for big families or groups, offering comfort and plenty of space. The lovely garden at the back provides a peaceful retreat away from the busy city. Though the beaches are a bit far, the quiet location is refreshing. Parking is conveniently available on the nearby street, and access to the main road and airport is easy. The staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive, making the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for those seeking a serene, comfortable getaway with excellent hospitality!

Volvemos a casa descansadisimos. ¡gracias!

My review can be broken down into three parts: The Service, The Community, and The B & B Facility.||The service was outstanding. Carlos and his wife does everything possible to accommodate you and the quality of your stay. They readily provide tips on restaurants and things to do in the area. Free Grande bottle of water provided each day upon request and Carlos was kind enough to provide beach umbrella for daily beach trip. Breakfast is provided daily at approximately 9A, and it is served with a smile. Typically includes cereal, sliced Jamon (and other fresh meats) and cheese, OJ, fresh fruit, toast/rolls with butter and selection of jams) and coffee of your choice.||They usually leave the facility in late evening so there is no attendant on-site at night, but there are keys provided to guests to enter/exit the facility after hours.||The Community is a small laid-back Spanish beach town, with two great beaches (both pretty crowded during my visit with quite warm temps), and lots of typical restaurants and bars, most of which offer an array tapas and pizza. It is really nice to sit at shaded outdoor seating immediately adjacent to the beach while enjoying a sangria or other drink of choice. Other than beaches and restaurants, really not much doing, however, lovely Valencia is only 50-60km West.||The B & B is charming and rustic. It is a nicely restored and renovated Spanish home that has been turned into an interesting and very clean and lovingly cared for B & B. There are three floors to the house: first floor is public area, office and kitchen and includes a thatched roof outdoor seating area where guests can have breakfast or sit and chat in the evenings, and a multiple sat lounge area for reading and relaxing. The facility provides free WiFi, which works well on the first floor, not sure about the 2nd floor, but 3rd floor WiFi was sporadic to non-existent. There are a total of six guest rooms, all of which are air conditioned; 3 on the second floor (22 steps up); and 3 more rooms on the 3rd floor (an additional 19 steps up). There is no lift, for those adverse to stair-climbing. I did not see or experience the 2nd floor rooms, or the other two rooms on the 3rd floor, so will limit my comments, specifically to room 23 on the 3rd floor. A couple of words of caution, be careful of ceiling heights at the top of 3rd floor stairs; If you are taller than 5'7" there is head bump hazard! Room 23 is actually 3 rooms in one... the bedroom is about 12'x10' with a large bed (king-size?), a small attached shower and toilet area, and a dual sink area with mirror for grooming. The bedroom area has roof beams that descend rapidly from the door side of the room to the small window side to a height of about 5 feet...again there is a head bump hazard for those in the room on the right side of the bed who are taller than 5 feet tall. The shower is clean and modern but TINY. The maximum entrance width to the shower is about 16 inches created by sliding glass doors to maximum opening. The shower dimension is about 24"x24"... VERY TINY and difficult to shower comfortably. Rooms are cleaned daily and...

On a long drive from Portugal's Algarve to the north tip of Spain we arrived at Casa Arizo in mid August 2014 for a two night stay. We were met with such a warm welcome and a drink on the house. After a cold beer and a very pleasant glass of wine we were showed to our top floor room. This wonderfully charming family run hotel is tucked away in the quiet seaside town of Oropesa Del Mar. ||The decor is wonderful !, the attention to detail is perfect. The town house which was once owned by the proprietors grandparents has been lovingly restored and filled with antiques and original furniture. The hotel boasts many original features including , window shutters winding staircases, beautiful tiled flooring which all add to it's charm.||The hotel also offers all modern essentials. We stayed in a wonderfully comfortable and very clean air conditioned en suite room that looked out over a quiet cobbled street just a short walk from the Castle that overlooks the town.||Everything you could wish for had been carefully thought out and provided. There was also WiFi a hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. The room had lots of decorative personal touches which you rarely find anymore.||Breakfast was also a delight! we dined on fresh fruit cheeses and meats as well as cereals, jams and locally produced juices and bread.||Juan and Carlos are superb and informative hosts and it is somewhere we will definitely aim to return to. Casa Arizo was exactly the short break we were looking for and we were certainly not disappointed. Next time we will certainly book for...

Last year in July and August we were living in a very gracious host - Juan Arizo his Casa Arizo 2. ||Wonderful house !!!! 2 months in old Spanish style. House in the center of the old town, near the bullring. Torreroes !!!! Old streets, quiet, super photo in black and white style, what else is needed ... .. nothing!||We (three adults and two children) were completely satisfied with location, accomodation, atmosphere. ||The main house has its own patio, which saves in the heat, and in the evening !!! The place lacks everything - sun loungers, hammock, dining table, BBQ !!! Along the perimeter of the patio grow herbs and flowers that create shade and peaceful mood.||The house is situated in the old part of the city, where it is very quiet, comfortable, smiling and very friendly neighbors.||We were quiet when children played in the street, because Almost no cars, there are no annoying noisy disco, bars.||||Nearby are several shops, cozy cafes, muzeum, shop with ready meal.||||Very convenient for the family, has everything you need from the equipment !!||||Most importantly, all of that so beautifully photographed - is in reality.||||Respect Juan for such an idea as living in an old...
