The hostel it self was great. Good furniture, nice bathrooms and included breakfast. However, I had a terrible expecience arriving there. I was traveling alone and I arrived early at this accomodation. A local old man entered in the exterior of the house right after me. I asked him if he works in the hostel and he said that he works there sometimes. He told me to go upstairs and went after me. I tried to open the door, and it was locked. And how can we forget the swimming pool outside which was literally blessing after walking 27 km!!! Roberto is an incredible host and is doing a wonderful job with Villa Viera....

The accommodation is brilliant, clean, modern, every small thing has been considered. But what I must call out above all else is the service... unfortunately I came down unwell on my last night and couldn't walk to Santiago this day - the owner, staff, cleaners, everyone was so kind, helping me in a very tight spot... brought literal tears to my eyes. It is clear they are passionate about the pilgrim experience and I will be eternally grateful. Do yourself a favour, walk the extra 5km past Padron, have a beautiful last night here, and an easy walk...
