Honestly this was the best guest house we stayed in on our Camino. Not just because of the beautiful restored rooms in the historic house, but because of the very special family who own it. From the moment we arrived we could sense a “heart and soul” that is rare. Pablo (the son) is the host and makes you immediately feel welcome. Celia (the mom) cooks the most delicious homemade dishes - we ate both lunch and dinner here, and all was outstanding. (If you like ensalada mixta, this is the best one you will have - promise.) Read moreThis is a nice small Camino pension. The place itself is really nice, rooms were very clean, but a little noisy, it was easy to hear other rooms, but it was fine and since it’s a Camino pension everyone was in bed early.
The family that runs it is super nice and very helpful. They provide wash and dry laundry, which was so nice to have warm, clean clothes on the Camino!
I would echo what other folks said about the food, it was good, but the options were limited. I would recommend a coffee maker in the pension, the cafe opens at 8, which is a little late for some...

Fantastic bar with lovely outdoor spaces to enjoy your drink as you watch pilgrims walk past. Food was delicious. The owner and his dad are charming, helpful, and truly love what they do. I plan to walk the Camino Frances again with my son in the future, and we will definitely return to this...
