Five Stars for this 2-star hotel! |Why:|1. Very Clean, everywhere. Floors and bathroom were immaculate. |2. Very friendly staff. Jorge in particular made us fee right at home, offering to chill a bottle of vino and gave us glasses.|3. Excellent breakfast and coffee. Also the food in cafe and dining room was excellent, notably the grilled vegetables, grilled bass and pork, along with the potato’s.|4. Location: right on the Camiño. We enjoyed seeing the trekkers take a break in the cafe, and walked a bit of the trail. There is an old church at the end of the rod and we could hear the church bells and service on Sunday morning.||We had a room on the main floor with a lovely patio that we sat out and watched the automatic (silent) lawnmower while we sipped our wine. ||We stayed 3 nights and felt very welcome and valued the entire time. |The hotel is close to many options for things to do. Read moreIf you want to live Galicia come to this place. Staff super friendly (Galicians all are super warm people; it’s their nature) We visited for 5 days and we have Campañó among places we would love to live. Room was good, food was great, the old town church from the XVIII century is a relic. La Viuda bar is nearby (2 minute walking distance) and you can meet locals and have a conversation. We fell in love with this tiny hotel. Swimming pool is not heated and even in Summertime water is cold, but refreshing. Try to find furanchos in the area… after having seafood in Galicia you don’t want to try’em nowhere else. This is a two star hotel, but you won’t feel disappointed. You can breathe peace here. Locals also come to the cafeteria for drinks and chatting, so Camino...
Read moreThis Hotel is a delight, set in a small quiet area of the village. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean, it has a cosy bar and dining room, covered outdoor terrace and small lounge area near reception. The gardens are well kept with a lovely water feature and pond. The fenced swimming pool looked inviting with grass surround. Our room 205 overlooked the swimming pool. It has a balcony, efficient heating, air conditioning for summer, the most wonderful shower and the largest bed I've ever seen. The pillows were comfortable and we used one of the three spare blankets. Breakfast could be improved with a hot option and more fresh produce, what we had was alright. We had a evening meal my husband had fish, I had veal that also was alright hense the 1...
