They want to be a small luxury/boutique hotel, but they are not. It honestly was very disappointing. The only plus for this hotel was the view on the ocean and a nice pool. But the negatives are staggering. First of all: the hotel ist NOT DONE BUILDING. The rooms and the pool exist, thats it. We did not know, it was not communicated. The whole area is covered in building materials and neither a reception nor a restaurant are there, yet. The latter one is currently under construction ergo there were builders 30 meters next to our room and the pools drilling, chainsawing and hammering all day long. The only option for us was to leave the whole day because relaxation, the key selling point according to the website, was not possible! The room itself was good, but really hot! The ventilator did not do much, so the only option is to sleep with the sliding door wide open, which honestly is quite scary in the middle of abandoned greenhouses, where the hotel is located, and with multiple random people wondering through on the way to the ocean. The bathroom is really pretty but be aware that you cannot flush the toilet paper! You will have to hose yourself or throw the toilet paper in a bin (which, depending on your habits of daily relive could become smelly, especially when its hot). Also be aware that the safe won't fit more than two wallets and maybe a small camera. Ipads or big cameras do not fit. The pool is very pretty and the only real plus for a stay. But the service really is not good or thought through well. They started cleaning the pool around 8 and were not done until 10 to 10:30 every day, which is the prime time of pool usage for some people. In general, the cleaner was the only person of staff we saw after checkin. Nonetheless, the property could need some more of them as the glass on the brakfast area and the windows was already blind by the sea water. As they don't have a reception there is no other way of contacting the staff than by WhatsApp message which is especially frustrating when there is an urgent issue (we lost the wifi multiple times and the water as well). The breakfast, that you chose they day before, will be sitting on a table with no one to be seen around, which slightly odd. The food was a real dissapointment for us, again, as we booked via booking.com where the hotel was advertised as vegan and vegetarian. Among the three choices of breakfast there was a whopping singular option that was vegetarian, the rest included fish or meat. No vegan food at all. The quality was okay, but just really boring and uninspired. Every day we got the same 2 pastries per person and the müsli sided with a shared plate of a few tiny pieces of papaya and one sliced banana for two. No change in presentation, no change in type of pastry or fruit. After 5 days that honestly got very, very dull. Only on the last day we got a few slices of dragon fruit extra. The coffee was good, but the juice wasn't of high quality and did not taste good. Fresh orange juice would have been 3€ per glas, extra. We did not try this but asked for water instead of the included juice and got that no problem from then on. A plus for them: one day we had to leave early and they prepared the müsli for us an hour early at 7, which was really appreciated! Regarding food: do not book this hotel without a rental car! There are no dinner options closer than 12 minutes by car.

Overall, they want to sell you luxury and relaxation at a very proud pricepoint but they just don't deliver, which is so sad considering all the potential of the location. It is more of an AirBnB with an amazing view. In general, it does not seem that they are very experienced in running a hotel. Too many hickups and fails for the prices they call for a stay. Don't advertise relaxation if you sell rooms in the middle of a busy building site where you can only relax after 5pm when the...

Review of Our Stay at Costa Magica Resort, Tenerife:

Our group of 13 people stayed at the Costa Magica Resort in Tenerife in May for a full week. Overall, our experience was 100% enjoyable, thanks to the excellent organization and support provided by Sasha Speziale, our main contact person on-site.

Accommodation and Facilities: The resort itself was beautiful and well-maintained. The rooms were spacious, clean, and offered stunning views of the surrounding area. The amenities, including the pool and dining areas, were top-notch and added to the overall comfort of our stay.

Excursions and Activities: Sasha Speziale did an outstanding job organizing all our excursions. We had a fantastic time exploring the Teide National Park, where the natural beauty left us in awe. The boat trip, complete with snack and sparkling wine on board, was a highlight of our trip, offering both relaxation and adventure. Additionally, the city tour in northern Tenerife was informative and well-guided, giving us a deeper appreciation of the local culture and history.

Transportation: All transfers were seamless and punctual, which made our excursions stress-free. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly, enhancing our overall experience.

Conclusion: Our stay at Costa Magica Resort was memorable, largely due to the excellent planning and execution of activities by Sasha Speziale. We highly recommend this resort for anyone looking to explore Tenerife with the convenience of well-organized excursions and comfortable...

We booked the private suite with terrace and it has been an amazing luxury stay like having a hotel on your own. The design was impressive and well thought of. Coffeemaker and a small fridge is there. We booked a welcome Cava and pralines option that we enjoyed on our arrival.

This place is remote and limited in space - hence a perfect quiet get away where you can enjoy nature, listening to the waves, visiting the rocky litte beach.

While the hotel still is in progress of setting up their restaurant and improving all the facilities their construction work did not bother at all and being on the lower private suite area was like you booked into your private little VIP hotel. The have a safe for valuables.

The bathtub was fun (bath salt was provided!) and we enjoyed the jacuzzi multiple times.

We had quite a windy weekend but we had enough spots and areas where we could sit and enjoy ourselves.

The hotel team was always available via Whatsapp and went out of their way to assist on any way they could!

The break fast options were great and delicious, too.

Since we live on this island and this is literally just one hour drive away from our home this was the best idea we had in years to explore this area of the island that is so remote that is never overrun by tourists masses.

We did drive a 15 Minute drive to the restaurant Finca el Cardon which added another amazing highlight to this truly impressive weekend to celebrate our 32 years...

On the oceanfront, with stunning views and exquisite interior and exterior design. The hotel combines boutique-style design with the feeling that you're not in Tenerife at all, but somewhere far away - maybe on the Greek island of Santorini, or even in Bali... The rooms are decorated in a minimalist, natural style - the calm colours immediately evoke a sense of peace and relaxation. Every detail has been thought of - the rooms are cosy and comfortable. The poolside suites are particularly cosy - spacious, with terraces, a little further away from the main building with the restaurant, and right by the pool and the jakuzi, with stunning views of the ocean. And if you're lucky like us, you can catch the sunset. Amazing food and drinks in restaurant. We recommend this amazing place for 100 precent!
