We found this hotel to be perfect. It is small only having five rooms/suites and therefore doesn't offer everything that you might find in a bigger hotel but that works really well. The place is run by two sisters who really care about the service and the comfort and satisfaction of their guests. ||||ROOM - our room had a good bed, bathroom with bath and bidet and nice sitting room. Immediately outside our door was a lovely private seating area which led onto the grounds including several sitting places and a small pool with sunbeds. It was cleaned spotlessly everyday.||||FOOD - breakfast was served on a lovely terrace with the offer of pastries, eggs, ham/cheese, excellent coffee. It was served between 9am and noon which reflects the very relaxing feel of the hotel. A lunch/brunch menu was offered through the afternoon which we used a couple of times for light meals and was lovely and fresh and served wherever you required. ||||GENERAL - We visited in the first half of June and although most of the rooms were occupied during our stay the place always felt quiet and you would commonly have the pool to yourselves.||||LOCATION - The hotel is in the village/small town of Saint Miguel next to the church at the highest point of the town. The town has a handful of good eating and drinking places that are all within easy walking distance (less than 5 minutes). Right outside the front gate is a locals bar/tabac that served as our pre-dinner drinks venue allowing us to watch the activity of people coming up to the tabac, seeing locals congregate and just looking out from the viewpoint. Restaurants in town range from high end to locals joints but they were consistently good. If you are prepared to walk up to a mile and a half then their is also a couple of good restaurants on the road to Santa Gertrudis. The walk is a safe one as there is a path/cycle track all the way to Santa Gertrudis. ||||There is also a good hiking trail that goes down to the Port Sant Miquel which is about 4km and took us...
Read moreI’m writing this on our last night sitting by the pool in the late sunshine.||This Hotel is outstanding, it’s location next to the church atop the hill give amazing views of the countryside and down to Bay of Port San Miquel. The entrance is unassuming, two wooden gates set in a whitewashed wall but you enter into the most beautiful place. This is like walking into someone’s home. We were greeted with such a warm smile from Margarita one of the two sisters who own and run the hotel. We were early but that wasn’t a|problem, we were made to feel so welcome. Our room was perfect, cooled by the old wooden shutters, inside beautifully decorated wit an amazing bathroom, large bedroom and a stunning terrace.||Everywhere you look there has been thought put into the decor, furnishings in the rooms but also on the beautiful|Patio, pool and dining areas. The pool is amazing, so clean and cool, all the furniture has cotton cushions which really complement the patio.||Breakfast is good with a nice choice of fresh healthy produce, served with a smile from either Margarita or Antonia.||Today we discovered you can have lunch too! Amazing food in such a beautiful|Location.||This holiday has been so relaxing for us on our first ever visit to Ibiza, the countryside and coast is incredible and you are a few minutes drive from some amazing restaurants.||I can’t thank Margarita and Antonia enough for being excellent hosts and I would recommend this amazing place in a heartbeat. Read moreTruly an incredible experience that will be remembered forever. From the warm welcome when we arrived late to the wonderful breakfast on the last I could not believe I'd found such a slice of heaven. Our room was stunning, with a delightful porch that, though wasn't private, felt private by the way the owners had positioned the space. We slept well in our comfy beds and the silence each night was delightful. The breakfast on the balcony every morning was the highlight, fruit, yoghurt, hand, cheese, eggs etc, all so fresh and tasty in the warm morning sun overlooking the hills. We had planned daily excursions but so relaxing, almost meditative, it was round the pool we stayed in reading. It's in a tranquil spot ont he hill above the town next to a quaint church. There's not much in the town but we really enjoyed the pizza place and found a good place for coffee. We enjoyed that the people here were mostly Spanish and not a English breakfast in sight. The beach below is nice, but we preferred the drive round to benirras beach, quieter and lovely. I've been highly recommending this place to family that visit every year and hopefully we will be returning whenever we need a recharge. Thank you Antonia and Margirita for an...
