This an outstanding hotel. Quiet, classy with great rooms and excellent value.
We've been to Santiago de Compostela many times over 30 years as we have family 2.5hrs west in the depths of mountainous Galicia. We have tried many hotels actually in the city. This is the first time we tried a hotel just outside the city. It's about 10 mins from the airport and 12 from the city.
We loved it so much we came back again 4 days later.
Rooms 18 (on the ground floor) and room 28 (on the 1st floor) have four poster beds. The showers are great and the rooms spotless.
Dinner and breakfast are good value. There was a log fire when we stayed and the place has its only chapel.

Die Unterkunft ist zwar etwas abseits vom Jakobsweg, aber es lohnt sich einen kleinen Umweg zu machen. Sehr idyllische Unterkunft um sich auszuruhen, um am nächsten Tag die letzten 10km nach Santiago de Compostela zu wandern und den Ruhm zu genießen, dass man es geschafft hat. Die Gastfreundschaft und die Hilfsbereitschaft waren hervorragend. Das Abendessen war lecker und das Frühstück war genial und reichlich. Ich möchte diese Unterkunft gerne weiterempfehlen. Danke für die Gastfreundschaft. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und kommen wieder.
El alojamiento está un poco alejado del Camino de Santiago, pero merece la pena hacer un pequeño desvío. Lugar muy idílico para descansar, para caminar al día siguiente los últimos 10km hasta Santiago de Compostela y disfrutar de la gloria de haberlo conseguido. La hospitalidad y amabilidad fueron excelentes. La cena fue deliciosa y el desayuno fue increíble y abundante. Me gustaría recomendar este alojamiento. Gracias por la hospitalidad. The accommodation is a bit off the Camino de Santiago, but it is worth making a small detour. Very idyllic place to rest, to hike the last 10km to Santiago de Compostela the next day and enjoy the glory of having made it. The hospitality and helpfulness were excellent. Dinner was delicious and breakfast was awesome and plentiful. I would like to recommend this accommodation. Thank you for the hospitality. We felt comfortable and will be back.

I stayed in this place the day before getting to the Santiago de Compostela just to treat myself. I had an AMAZING Michelin level dinner at this place. The pork knuckle and the crepes are at the next levels.
