CasaRoc — Hotel in Sella

We stayed at Casa Roc (Roc House) in April 2013. It's a little gem in area surrounded by mediocre accommodation, and the town of Sella is charming, authentic and superbly situated. We travelled around the area, from Benidorm up to Calpe, and we were so happy (and lucky!) that we chose to stay here. The houses have been divided up to accommodate a range of group sizes, from couples up to a group of 7 or 8 (we comfortably had 6 in Roc House). Our house had a great large kitchen and dining area, with a lovely balcony/terrace, again with great views. Bedding and all kitchen utensils were provided, there were many nice touches. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough! The only negative would be if you wanted to be located within walking distance of the beach, which was a 15 minute drive away. A beautiful house in a stunning location. The views from the large terrace were amazing. Very peaceful and relaxing. The village was very quiet but had several shops, restaurants and bars. We waked to the village pool most days for a refreshing swim and it also had a very nice bar for a beer overlooking the valley. There were lots of walks to be done directly from the house and many others further afield. Lots of climbing close by as well. Casaroc is a must-do is Spain! Tucked into a quiet mountain village, you will instantly feel the calm and slow people of the local villagers. Steve and his wife are absolutely wonderful! The house is really cute and well stocked with just about everything you could need. The BBQ and balcony are probably the best part, offering views across the valley!
