Finca Es Castell — Hotel in Selva

The surrounding of the Finca is picturesque. Finca is nice, could be more power sockets in the rooms (we got 2 for three people and one of them was in the bathroom). The breakfast was small and monotonous but this is something normal in the south of Europe.

The biggest drawback is the service. People working there are not very helpful as they speak only Spanish. Contact with them is also very often as they give you less towels than people, ask for the key to your room (as they have no spare one for the cleaning service). We had also a very inconvenient situation of having our rooms mixed. Consequently, we had to change the room during our stay. The change of the room was conducted by the manager (I guess) who was rather passive-aggressive than nice (and it was not our fault) and very unprofessional. Prior to our holidays there was also an issue with the payment and with the lack of the communication with the staff. There are plenty of fincas in this beautiful part of the island and I would recommend to consider them instead...

We spent 6 full days at Finca Es Castell and absolutely loved it. The hotel is beautifully located in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by nature, with goats wandering nearby and the soothing sound of cicadas in the background. It’s incredibly peaceful and quiet – the perfect place to truly relax.

It’s true that the mobile signal is quite weak, but for me that was actually a big plus. It allowed me to disconnect from the daily noise and fully enjoy the moment. And if you really need to connect, there is a fast Wi-Fi spot available – you’ll find it easily when needed.

The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming – thank you so much for a wonderful stay. I’ll definitely recommend this place to others and I truly hope to come...

The site is wonderful and well maintained, just relaxing quiet garden and pool area. The rooms befit the finca's style but offer everything you need. The staff is just simply lovely, perfect service, and takes care of all you need. Spot is well situated to explore the island, but a rental car is recommended.
