I am currently staying at this hotel with friends and family which will also update when we all finish our stay. So we arrived on a Sunday evening and initially very happy with size of room as we booked extra large room because we were traveling as a family of 5. This is our second day here at this hotel and I am now writing a bad review. I have just found out that the gym is closed for the whole duration of my stay as it is under renovation and no one had notified me. My booking was made March/April time therefore leaving plenty of time to be updated on any changes. The gym being closed is a big let down for me because it's something I personally look for when I book a hotel away but it's also not the end of the world it's more the way it was handled which has really put a bad taste in my mouth. The staff at reception didn't really care and just replied that the hotel offered these facilities for free so didn't feel obligated to do anything for me and had the cheek to offer me a refund on the remaining nights that I have already paid for. The safe in our two rooms do not work which had been reported and no one has bothered to fix it, I'm assuming they have the same attitude for this to. My advise is becareful booking at this hotel as it looks like they offer these facilities at the time of your booking but then have no care if they are not available and don't bother to update you before arrival. The room is clean and large located far from city center but close to airport. The pool is a decent size just a bit dated and small area around with no space to sunbathe. I normally visit Sevilla as I have family here but I don't think I will be returning to this hotel and at this moment I definitely...
Read moreHow this is a 4 star hotel? By far the worst experience I’ve had. One thing all these 4 star reviews don’t tell you: THERE’S NO COOLANT SYSTEM IN THIS HOTEL. Yes, that’s right. You cannot regulate the temperature of your room, except to heat it up (although why you would ever do that I have literally zero idea). Apparently it is a centralized heating system which does not provide cold air at all. When we walked in our room was ~80*F, and even with the window wide open it didn’t get below 75F at night. I literally could not sleep given this, and my family was miserable.
When I asked customer service about this, I was misled. They told me that they have rooms of different temperatures, with some being intentionally cooler than others. When I dug deeper I found that this was in fact not intentional, but only due to the sun coming in our side of the building. How is any of this acceptable? Even the shoddiest hotels I’ve stayed at have had, at the very least, a rickety AC system heating beds lined with cigarette-burnt sheets.
I will not be returning here, and would honestly rather spend a night on top of Mt. Elbert during a blizzard. I’d suggest you...
Read moreWe booked this hotel out of convenience as it is located close to the airport. When we arrived for check-in at 9 PM, we waited about 30 minutes for our room, even though we booked the stay a month in advance. The receptionist allowed 2 groups of Portuguese-speaking people to go ahead of us, even though we were next in line. When we got into our room (about an hour later), it was clear that the room was cleaned in a rush. The sheets and comforter smelled awful and there was used cups in the bathroom. The rooms also did not have the 'usual conveniences' you would find in a hotel at this price point. We didn't even have water bottles in our room. Coffee/tea/a kettle were also not provided. Finally, if you are planning to take a taxi to the airport, you will be charged a fixed Airport Taxi rate of 32Є for a 4 minute drive. It may make sense to book a cheaper hotel that is further away since you will pay the same rate for the taxi. Overall, we were very disappointed in this hotel, the service, the cleanliness, and...
