Càmping l'Orri del Pallars — Hotel in Sort

Perfect campsite for kayaking, you can literally roll out of your tent onto the river. We used the area with no electricity for a large group, and had free reign to pitch our tents which was perfect. The staff were really friendly and helpful, especially with our very limited Spanish. The only issue we had was that there was noone around when we arrived, and we weren't sure where to pitch our tents. To be fair though, it was a Sunday, and staff did arrive at 4 pm to help us. The pool was great too on a hot day. The shower facilities were good, with great water pressure, although the shower heads struggled to stay on the wall in most cubicles. This could be such a great campsite but needs a little bit better management. The quiet times (2300-0800) were ignored by several groups who had parties until the small hours, with no management intervention. Children were free to run around the site late at night. Some of our group had items stolen from their pitch and other campers were seen acting suspiciously around our pitch. We reported them but they left before being challenged by staff. Really nice campsite! Friendly, multilingual staff and super clean washrooms with great hot showers. Beautiful, quiet spot by the river with nice level pitches. I had a van issue while there and the team couldn’t have been more helpful—big thanks to the lovely girl at reception and the older gentleman who helped try to jump-start it.
