The food truck was a godsend, only critique of the Alburgue is it's in the middle of nowhere, so the food truck is your lifeline to dinner. That being said, it's a great midpoint from Padron to Santiago, and the burger is fantastic. The hostel is very clean, well run, and the bathrooms are nice. Its a welcome stop on the journey to the finish line. Beds are cozy, have curtains, lights, power, and the patio area seemed nice (if its not raining). They have a food cart that sells salads drinks a little sandwiches juices sodas some beers if you're thirsty on your walk to Great spot to stop and rest your feet and get a quick drink before you finish your walk for the day. All the interesting recycled art all over did you think to look at all you're not people watching taking a break...
Read moreIt's as nice as a hostel gets. Wonderful renovation. Food truck makes wonderful pub grub and sells soda, beer and cider. Outdoor patio eating. Then there are vending machines for morning coffee, water bottles, soda, haribo candy... it's immaculate inside. I thought owners were very accommodating, also. A great place for your last night on the Camino Portugues.
