Our family was planning to visit the region, along with our dog. |I made the reservation through booking.com for a short stay as the place announced itself pet-friendly, on booking.com and all the other places I found them on internet.|I contacted the hotel to find out about parking possibilities when I accidentally also learned they only accept dogs below 10 kg, which is not the case of my golden retriever. |The lady who attended me tried to justify this misinformation with the fact that as per their booking.com profile they only accept dogs upon request, which is the normal procedure always at any pet-friendly place, independently from dog’s size.|When i tried to find out what would have happened if we had showed up with the dog to do the checkin as they forgot to mention this, she said they would had refused to give us a room!!!! In August....Without any plan B.... Very nice, customer-focused...|I also asked her to check with the managers about their pet policy, she got me back saying that just as other people, we should leave our dog behind and stay at their place. I highly doubt it...|We obviously didnt do that in order to stay at their badly managed hotel, so booked another place which understands what hospitality is...|It doesnt fit my mind how could a hotel be run with such a rude attitude!! Reading the comments it seems that s the way they do things in general, not...
Read moreLovely hotel/apartments. Very clean in all the main buildings. Lovely outside area, pool could do with clean. Mind you, it is March, so only the very brave or silly would go in it. The surround of the pool has a few sunbeds, but plenty of other seating. Beware, there are no kettles in the room, and none are held at reception. The coffee machine takes the little coffee canisters. Takes ages to try and make a cup of tea. We ended up using a pan to boil water for brews. A kettle in the room would be a good idea. Especially in the apartments. ||The bar is lovely, all staff are very friendly and will help where they can. We haven't tried the food yet, so I can not comment on that. ||Parking is underground with limited spaces. This is via side road on the right past the hotel. There is a petrol station across the road, a big supermarket and a LIDL nearby. They close 2100.||We didn't see any open restaurants nearby apart the one in hotel.||Loads of little extras in the room, toothbrush and paste, cotton wool pads and buds, razor (use at you own peril), shoe horn, shoe shine sponge and a little pack of cotton, needles...
Read moreA lovely hotel, very chic and modern albeit a tad minimalist in the rooms (only one small bin in bathroom). Great underground garage with secure bicycle storage. Spotlessly clean and great swimming pool that gets sun all day. ||I would have given a 5 but the thing that knocks one star off is the breakfast. Not that it’s bad its not, it’s just that the staff never seem to check the hot items like scrambled eggs to keep them topped up. You have to alert them to the fact it’s empty and then wait while they cook some more. Not good enough really. |It’s so...
