Service was very good. We were picked up at the airport by a very friendly person named Sylvia, who guided us to our villa. She has given us many helpful tips to discover the island and to find some restaurants which were not tourist traps.||||The villa was very clean, and looked picture perfect. Private swimming pool (more for relaxing), 2 terraces, separate wind-shielded area for BBQ. Overall comfort level was very good. A minor point of criticism: the kitchen equipment was rather minimal - eg we could not find a peeler to peel carrots, and there was a barbecue but no BBQ equipment. ||||There was internet available but only via a USB-modem. This does not work on Ipads, nor did it work on my laptop from work (since you have to be able to install a programme and most companies restrict administrator rights so you cannot install).||||As to location, our villa was some 200 meters from the main road. Overall it was pretty quiet (at night even very peaceful with beautiful view of the stars) but during breakfast the wind did carrry some noise from the main road (not a problem really, but do not expect a place where you hear nothing except birds whistling). The area around the villa is pretty deserted, so very good privacy. The area itself around Gran Tarajal is not the most idyllic on the island, but in return it is much less crowded, and you do not pay tourist prices when shopping in Gran Tarajal (we noticed a huge difference in price compared with (horrid) tourist town Morro Jable). The owners of Villas Fuentitas are planting palm trees around each of the villas, I can imagine that the villas will become even nicer when these trees are full-grown. From our villa, it was an hour driving to Corralejo in the north (which I liked quite a lot), and some 30 minutes to Morro Jable in the South (which...
Read moreI have stayed here at the end of January. The villa's are really beautiful with a five-star service! Located in the country it is calm and peaceful. The villa's are newly builds and are similar to each other. The direction of the buildinga are different, however all the swimming pools are located at the south.||The villa has 3 bedrooms (2 twin, 1 double) and 2 bathrooms (1 with bath, 1 with a shower). The kitchen is nicely equipped with everything in six and pots and pans in 3 variations. The laundry room is also wonderful to use for a long-stay.||The place is cleaned every three days. You get clean towels, kitchen cloths. They even take the garbage out, replace the bin bag and provide diswasher tablets. Also the pool is cleaned. There was sun umbrella you are allowed to take to te beach.||You need a rental car as the place is isolated. I rented a car at the airport. SIlvia picked me up and she guided me to the villa. Next morning Silvia came to explain everything and shows the village of Gran Tarajal and where to shop and eat.||Gran Tarajal is perfectly located at the middle part of the island with direct connection to Betancuria area. ||One point of further enhancement might be to provide clean towels...
