Hotel Ler Argi — Hotel in Urnieta

On driving through France/Spain mid June, we needed an overnight stay and found Hotel Ler-Argi. Yes, it's only a 2* hotel but the manager couldn't have been more helpful. Although the hotel was not open, he saw us at the hotel gate and let us in. As we only needed a bed for the night, he showed us a very nice family room, with balcony and bathroom, overlooking the garden. He also told us places to eat in Urnieta, which was only a five minute walk (if the weather was dry!) or two minutes by car. The beds were very comfortable and a very nice breakfast was laid on for us the next morning. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially if only an overnight stay...

The owner of the place is really nice, explaining everything you want to know and more and being very helpful.

The hotel itself looks a bit outdated, bit everything is well kept and clean. Decent bathrooms, decent room, fair - and cheap! - breakfast with good coffee. And an excellent pool.

The hotel is close to the highway, you can hear it very well when you're outside, but not in the rooms.

Urnieta itself is as charming as a ski village in summer, but it has a train station that takes you to San Sebastián every 30 minutes in less than 15 minutes. By car its a 10 minute drive (and another 15 minutes finding a parking space close to...

GRAN EXPERIENCIA y MEJOR ATENCIÓN

En primer lugar hay que destacar la buena ubicación del establecimiento: * por un lado se tiene la estación de cercanias de urnieta a 10 minutos andando tranquilamente desde donde hay línea directa (la E1) que nos lleva directamente en 13 minutos a la estación de San Sebastián (en pleno centro al lado de la Playa de la Concha) ** por otro lado uno está en medio del campo, en un ambiente muy tranquilo y con el pueblo a dos pasos *todo ello sin olvidar lo cerca y con facil acceso desde la carretera nacional Una vez en el hotel, las instalaciones son amplias, no muy pretensiosas pero correctas, tiene todo lo necesario: buenas camas, enormes pantallas de televisión... lo único que no me terminó de convencer es el sonido del viento que una noche de las que allí estuvimos se oía demasiado para mi gusto. Otro aspecto a destacar son las amplias zonas que dispone para niños e incluso vi una piscina que parece ser abren en verano. Además, dispone de parking exterior, gratuito para los clientes. Para terminar, hay que recalcar el MAGNÍFICO trato que se dispensa a los clientes: los dueños (madre e hijo) están pendientes de cualquier necesidad de sus clientes, se nota y agradece su gestión familiar.
