As the last reviewer pointed out, this hotel is in a very convenient village not 5 minutes from the Brittany Ferry terminal. However, it is located on a street only one car wide, which is controlled up and then down by a traffic light. There is no signage pointing upwards or downwards but only a small plaque on the wall so you can miss it very easily as we did. Asked some locals and eventually found it as they consider it to be a restaurant/bar as this is located on the lower ground floor with no access to the hotel rooms which are located off the street on the upper ground level ( difficult to explain ).Thus need better signage so people can find the place.||||Anyway everything in the village including bars and restaurants close at 9 pm and only open at 9 am so no breakfast available. The rooms are excellent with full bath and shower and beds very comfortable for a fraction over 50€ per night double.||||Would wholeheartedly recommend this small...
Read moreThis is an interesting place that isn’t really a hotel in the traditional sense (automated access, staff on site rarely, no restaurant). It has pros and cons:
Pros Spacious clean rooms with good bathrooms (full bath with shower head) Great location 3 mins drive to ferry port but in a traditional village by the sea. The proprietor appeared briefly from a neighbouring building to advise us on parking spots (many are for local residents only).
Cons No soundproofing between rooms! The layout means you can clearly hear neighbours on the lavatory and noisy cisterns filling etc The ‘breakfast’ included in the price is self-service access to a truly terrible capsule coffee machine along with packaged sponge cake. There’s a microwave where I assume you could heat up food sourced elsewhere…
All in all it was expensive given the lack of service and I believe cheeky to advertise the room as...
Read moreNo instructions how to book in but eventually found that the bar downstairs is where you get your key! Surly staff in a dirty bar area. Room was clean enough but had no tea or coffee facilities. Bad news as there is no place to have even a cup of coffee in the morning. What would a family with kids do? We paid 90 Euros for the night and after travelling around Spain for 8 weeks this was the worst and the least value for money hotel we stayed at. No air conditioning or fan so the windows had to be kept open for some air. Very noisy in the street. I saw this on Booking.com for half the money we paid and consider myself ripped off! I would have complained in person but nobody there when we left at 9 am. My advise is AVOID. PS Nice little village with a couple of nice reteraunts but no shop...
